Please use the edit tab when requesting updates to a memorial. Findagrave has improved the edit process by allowing you to request changes through the edit tab, which will automatically go into the fields as you have entered them. This speeds up the process and reduces the chance of error. I have found findagrave.com while doing geneology research. It has turned out to be one of the biggest assets in my research. I wanted to be able to give back and decided to become a findagrave member. After finding family my cousin Wayne and I have spent a great deal of time looking for our relatives gravestones. He is a part of the Birdtracker's team for all Arkansas entries and has been there at each photo shooting. Wayne is the provider of information on the Birdwell/Tucker side, most of whom have been buried in Boone County, Arkansas. At this time we are researching the Birdwell, Harding Rowlett, Milam/Milum, Robertson/Roberson/Robinson, and Cato, through the Birdwell line. Malbaff, Thrasher, Mosher, Hook, Wolfe, Gordon, Tucker, Baughman, Eoff, Darnell, Dudley, and Srader, families through the Malbaff line. Currently we are doing mostly family and friends, but hope to expand. Occasionally graves are photographed that are not family or friends. We believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. We are more than willing to have family members "adopt" them provided they are not in our family or are friends. We do make an exception to this for persons who have been findagrave members for a very short time, and those who manage a significantly larger amount of memorials than they have contributed. A great number of our entries are family. Please feel free to use any photos which we have posted in your research work. Recently we have photographed headstones, which are not as clean as we would like, for informational purposes, only to find that contributors account is disabled so they cannot receive suggestions. Those photos have been posted for the information they provide.|

and if they don't move it to Maplewood, I'll still request a merge. Find A Grave is very cooperative when I tell them I have seen the gravesite and know the location is incorrect. :)

It does seem like a race. I've enjoyed finding markers for some of the old graves and adding photos. Most of the Maplewood duplicates are gone now. I've done about all I can do. It's better than it was. I've sent a message to the Maple Leaf contributor for Sneed. I also found an obituary on Coffman's site showing Maplewood, not Maple Leaf. I copied the link for them to see. If they move it, I'll request a merge. That way, your photos will be included. Thanks!

Oh, I'm sorry it was so difficult. I've been wishing for an updated book too. I can submit a request to have the Maple Leaf memorial merged into the correct Maplewood, if you haven't already done it. Thanks again for your help!

Okay, thanks for checking on it. I've seen several obituaries with the wrong cemetery listed.

|Karen Winters||RE: Hannas|
Thanks for this! I probably wouldn't have noticed, but we did a memorial for Anna Marie Hannah Morris at Mt Harmony Decoration this past weekend and I started checking out all the Hannah's buried there. Wish you could have been there! 6 of us were digging into shrubs and bushes finding broken headstones that the previous grounds keeper had tossed aside. We re-set stones, wrote names on identifying markers from journals years ago. Now these markers have an identity to an ancestor buried long ago.!

Thanks for posting the obit. I really appreciate. His wife, Biddie, is my g-g-aunt. I'm still looking for more info on her. I really appreciate all the hard work you and others do to make this site so great.

|Karen Winters||RE: Dudley Milam|
Dudley's history is awesome. He is the father-in-law of my 1st cousin 3x removed! Again, small world!
|Karen Winters||RE: Hual Rust|
Small world! I live in Branson!
|Karen Winters||RE: Hual Rust|
Thanks! I am on Ancestry and Hual is in my tree. There are more than one Lemuel W. Rust and I picked up the wrong one to begin with. Still trying to figure out where his parents Lemuel and Nancy are buried. I strongly believe they are at Mt Harmony because that is the community they came to after leaving Tennessee. Some census say Hual was born in TN and some say AR, but they were in Sebastian and Franklin counties the year he was born, so yes, thanks for putting AR. Just curious, do you live in Sebastian county?
