My profile photo is of me at 2 yrs of age with my "Nana" Katie Olene Summers, in 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where we lived until 1963. I found find a grave's website searching the internet, looking for a map of the Sanger Cemetery to help us locate Nana's gravesite. I was upset that it wasn't listed, so we all spread out looking where we "remembered it being" & we did find it. When I got home I decided to figure out why her name wasn't on F.A.G. & when I realized what & how this site was originated I was hooked! |
I was born in Fresno, CA. and we moved to No. Las Vegas, NV, where my dad eventually worked Civil Service at Nellis A.F.B.. When my brother was a yr old, we moved back to CA & lived in Fresno, Clovis & Sanger from 1963-1967. In 1967 we moved to Vacaville in Northern California, where we still reside. I'm involved in genealogy, researching the Summers, Ogden, Mudgett, Clark and Doyel family trees. Summers & Ogden from Oklahoma, and Mudgett and Clark are from Wisconsin & Minnesota.I haven't done much on my husband's family, but eventually I will. I am so happy that I found this website-Find A Grave & I take it very seriously when I get a photo request. I do what I can to take the very best photos possible & when necessary, I will retake photos, if the sod hasn't been placed. I have no problem sharing my photos. Afterall, we are are all in this together! 😉

Thank you so much for taking the time to post the picture of our parents headstone . . . it was very kind of you.
Because of your kindness I've decided that I will sign-up as a volunteer to take pictures in my zip code and I believe my sister is planning on signing up as well.
Once again, thanks a million.

I'm looking for info on John Clark Born 1794/97 NY, Died 1868 Michigan. Wife was Susan Harden. He had 8 children who were born in Canada; but a few moved to Michigan. Do you have any such person in your tree?
|Monica Moriarty||Daniel H Tobin|
Thank you so much. He was my father in law and he was a dear, sweet man.

Thank you so much for the wonderful photos of Vincent Guida's gravestone! He is a distant cousin on my dad's side. It's always nice to have pictures for relatives even if it's their resting spot.
