|Bio and Links|
Debates carry on whether FAG is just a databank with basic info on a person or if it is a genealogical site. It started off as a site for famous people and then evolved into what it is today. I believe in adding links, family info, obits, photos, etc, to create a family lineage so others searching for family can possibly make connections. Saying this, I do not see the need to include every record that can be found on a person. I see the use of obits, family info (especially from the 1800s, helps in linking others) and info that confirms who the person is and where they are buried.
This is a "team" effort project. Some get out there and record info, others provide photos, others send in links or info for Bios.
We all bring something of value in our work.
Let's all work together to complete as much as possible.
Obituaries: Emotions can run high when obituaries are entered upon day of publication by strangers. I would suggest giving family and friends a chance of entering. Just keep the information and check back in a week or two.
I try to honor military veterans and soldiers.
I never intentionally create duplicates or place someone in the incorrect cemetery. If I have made an error, just kindly point it out to me please.
If anyone I have listed are part of your family or research, I will be glad to transfer ownership of that person so that you may add more records and information. If they were your friend, I will transfer. I am not into numbers here, just want memorials to go to those who will take good care of them. I will retain those who are in my direct lines.
Go to the person's Memorial Page, Click on Edit, then Make A Suggestion and request the transfer.
Any of you with my related kin, please visit my website with surname database.
Thank you, Susan

Susan, thanks again for the obit on Jessie Mae Smith. If you do happen to come across any other info on a Lumley connection, please send to my email. I appreciate any & all finds. Certainly her obit opened up a question & reminds me how you can make discoveries when you least expect! Those are the kinds of things that make me love the internet for connecting researchers! Happy searching!!
