Bio and Links
Bio Photo Ðévil Ki††¥ Ðésigns™ is a name we chose in honor of our little boy kitty, who is still very much alive and well deserving of the nickname!

The people behind the name are Rob & Mary, a couple of 40-something "freaks" from Salisbury, North Carolina. He is a Florida native. She was raised in Alaska, and still thinks Florida winters are "too cold". We started photographing and transcribing cemeteries in 2004, and it's become something of a serious addiction.

We both have an interest in genealogy, photography, (especially cemetery photography) history, historical architecture & graphic arts.

Currently we are trying to photograph and record as many of the cemeteries in our area as we possibly can. We will probably still be photographing graves right up until we are put in our own. We also do volunteer genealogy research in our local area.

If you discover that we have created a memorial page for one of your relatives, please let us know, as we would be happy to transfer the page to you unless we are also related to the deceased and our relationship is closer then yours. If you are not a relative of the deceased, but would still like a transfer, please explain why you would like the transfer made(a friend of the deceased, classmate, etc). In such cases we are usually willing to transfer as well unless the person is in our immediate family.

Photos we have added to Find A Grave may be used for non-commerical purposes only. Adding them to your family tree on such sites as an or to your own personal family history page etc. is fine as long as you give proper credit. In most cases, we maintain larger, higher quality copies of the photos we have uploaded here and will be happy to email copies of them to family members upon request.

RE: Lee Edward Shuler
About Baldwin Cemetery, for years it was in terrible disrepair, the ground is rough and uneven because people were buried improperly, many who could afford to do so moved there loved ones to a better kept cemetery. Records were not properly kept if kept at all. The record shows that Lee Edward was about 5 days old when buried by undertaker Wilt but I see no record of removal. But it's not hard to believe that he was. Hope this helps.

RE: Schimnich
as keepers of the data, sometimes the best we can do is document the differences - especially with conflicting birth dates, where census data is not accurate. In the case of Andrew, there is a entry (minnesota deaths and burials) that puts his birth in 1832. But, I often put a high degree of confidence in what the gravestone says when entering data on findagrave.

I try to research all of my additions thoroughly so I do not duplicate. I guess I didn't look deep enough on that one and I appologize. We could have added the links to yours, copied the obit and then deleted mine. Thank you for adding the marker photo and doing what you did.

Actually if the inventory of the cemetery is to be correct, the record should show what the tombstone says--right or wrong, and then in the notes additional information to explain a date, full name, etc.
I am working every day on the Chestnut Hill list.

RE: John & Carolyn Morris marriage
I have looked everywhere for John, to no avail. Actually there were 6 children, one whose name I do not know. She must have been born and died young in the years between the census record. Another, H. Mabel, born circa 1901 and I have not located any other info on her.

RE: John & Carolyn Morris marriage
Thank you so much for finding the wedding date.. I have Caroline's parents as Alfred and Elizabeth Allen Tucker. Will have to do some further looking to determine what the T initial in each of their names is.

RE: Caroline Morris
Caroline's (only name on marker)full name is Sarah Caroline Tucker Morris. According to census, she married John Brantley Morris circa 1895. Have not located a marriage license yet.
