After discovering Find A Grave, I've become hooked. It's so true: "you can't do just one."|
If you have any corrections, links or additions, let me know through the "edit" tab which is on the top right of the memorial page. I try to be perfect, but so far....:o(
Please feel free to use any of my cemetery or headstone photos for whatever purpose.
TRANSFERRING Management: To be fair to all, I follow Find-A-Grave's guidelines.
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
Just use the "edit" tab and let me know how you are related and your FAG contributor number.
RESEARCHING: I am looking for parents and/or siblings of Austin Goodwin Broton [aka Broughton, Brotton, Button, Brayton] (1856-1946). He's my great grandfather and a bit of a mystery. His mother may have been a Goodwin, born in Scotland and died in New York about 1870...we think. His father's first name may have been Bernard.
Most importantly...have fun!

|MJ Kallas||William Austin & Minerva Austin|
Would you please consider transferring these graves to me. Minerva Wolf Austin and William Austin They are my Maternal Great Grandparents. William is the son of William & Lydia (nee Chadwick) Austin. William is the son of William and Hannah (nee Hoag, 1st wife)(2nd wife-Margaret Condon)
Thank you for the wonderful work you have done to help others. I am very grateful because I could not get to Michigan to visit Jeddo Cemetery (where I have a lot of relatives buried.) I have been working on family history since 1973 and am so thankful for dedicated people like yourself. I even named my oldest son Austin after my maternal grandmother's last name.
Thank you again for all you have done to help others get to know their family history.

I will if I come across it. I am no relation, but came upon this info in the historical newspapers.
I got your email with info on Ira O'Neal's military service.
I do not have any connection to Ira. I was just taking the photos in Woodlawn. If you would like to manage his page I would be happy to transfer it to you... It should be with any kind of family he might have had.
Let me know..

|Michael Moore||RE: Fred Easton (#143434030)|
Concerning Fred - I have been able to link him up going back 4 generations, but I am waiting for an edit to be approved for his grandfather, John Lyster (03674214), that will link John the grandfather to parents John Lyster (122145782) and Margaret Cherry (122145831).
I have a high level of confidence in all the linkages. The only document I am missing is a birth registration for Fred. His two younger siblings were born in Sacramento, but because Fred is listed in the 1920 census as residing with his parents in Carson, Ormsby, Nevada (1 year and 10 months old), I believe he was born in Nevada, not Sacramento. This is a presumption, not a fact.
