Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for over 40 years. I have started to take pictures of area cemeteries (Waukesha County area) and I am trying to submit them to various sites. I also take picture when I go on vacation to other parts of the USA and Europe.

If anyone needs a photo (which has not been re-sized) or has any corrections or additions please let me know.

Lately I have been getting many, many transfer requests without the needed information. If anyone requests a transfer, use the EDIT tab and the transfer request must contain the following information: Relationship; Parents, Siblings, Grandparents And Great Grandparents (which does not include Aunts/Uncles/Cousins) and your Find-A-Grave Contributor Number. A transfer cannot be done without the contributor number. It takes up too much time for me to search out the above information.

PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" TAB FOR ANY AND ALL ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS, TRANSFERS, ETC.

My sister, Lois has been helping with the corrections and additions and also looking for obituaries. My sister, Julie is also helping with taking pictures.

Gayle
Ella Kulik's spouse
I think there may be a problem with the following people:
John M. Kulik 91245144 is linked to
Ella Emilie Engler Kulik 79268673

They are linked as husband and wife.

In Wisconsin Memorial Park they are in two separate sections. John (Section 8), next to Blanche M. Kulik. John and Blanche are listed as husband and wife in the US 1930 and 1940 Federal Census. John also lists Blanche as
"Person who will always know your address" on John's WWII Draft registration card, and they also had the same address on this card.

Ella is in Section 18, next to Charles and Bertha Engler (parents). I did not find a John near her marker.

Can you help with this? Perhaps Ella's husband is in a different cemetery? Married twice?

Thanks for looking into this.

Michael Finley and parents, Francis P. Finley and Mary Lou (Dolan) Finley.
The missing link is Francis P. Finley. I do not live in Wisconsin but have many relations there.

You have added many Finley's in the Saint James Catholic Cemetery, Rising Sun, Wisconsin, U.S.A.

I did not want to intrude, but I noticed an obituary for Francis P. Finley who tied into many of the Finley you have already added. I thought you might live close to the cemetery and could verfiry that the burial had occured. The obituary for Francis P. Finley is attached below.

Data from online obituary for Francis P. Finley in the La Crosse Tribune, La Crosse, Wisconsin, U.S.A. July 25, 2011.

VIROQUA — Francis P. Finley, 85, of Viroqua died on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua.

Francis was born to Richard and Rose (Leahy) Finley on March 18, 1926, in La Crosse. He was raised and attended school in Rising Sun and attended high school in Seneca. In September of 1948 Francis was united in marriage to Mary Louise Dolan. He was farm manager of the Vernon County Farm and later worked at Nelson Muffler until his retirement. Francis enjoyed retirement spending time with family and his special dogs. He was also a very devout Catholic and attended church daily for many years. He was a loyal member of St. James Catholic Church in Rising Sun during the earlier part of his life and then became a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he had been a member for over 50 years.

Francis is survived by his children: Mark Finley, Francis M. Finley (Charlene Wolfe), Kay (Terry) Thorson; grandchildren: Luke (Michelle) Thorson, Matthew (Melissa) Thorson, Ann (Ryan) O’Donnell, Shane (Michelle) Finley, Shad Finley, Melissa (Chad) Vikemyr, Mikayla Finley; eight great-grandchildren; brother, William (Lois) Finley; sisters-in-law, Betty Finley and Berniece Brockway; and many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise; sons, Gregory and Michael Finley; his parents; brothers, Donald, Gerald, Joseph (Betty) Finley; and sisters-in-law, Lucille and Lorraine Dolan.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Viroqua. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery in Rising Sun. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to the St. James Church at Rising Sun for repairs or the Vernon Manor Activity Fund.

The 2004 obituary Data from the La Crosse Tribune, is not available online. They had a database problem and few years ago and most of the the 2004 was corrupted. Mary Lou (Dolan) Finley married to Francis died February 11, 2004. I do not have any gravestone images to look at for the birth information. See Citation below.
