I feel the same way. Many of my family worked in those mines. Shorty was my Grandpa Daniel "Stewert" Foy's brother. Grandpa Foy is my mother's Dad. She went to see him at the hospital before he died. She said they had done surgery to try to save him. He had broken his neck. It was a very sad time. I do not know much of Emma. I saw she married again and the trail stopped there as to know of her life. I have lived in Ohio my entire life. It was hard for my parents to keep up with all the families.
