I primarily cover cemeteries in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, though I have also done extensive work in and around Boston.|
My focus is on pre-1800 stones, Revolutionary War veterans and Civil War veterans. I also snap any Dickinsons I come across, since those Dickinsons seem to be really into this.
MY PHOTOGRAPHS MAY NOT BE RE-POSTED OR REPRODUCED ON THIS SITE, ANY OTHER WEBSITE, OR IN ANY OTHER FORM OF MEDIA WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION!
PER FIND A GRAVE'S POLICY, PLEASE NOTE THAT "TRANSFER REQUESTS SHOULD BE FOR DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS, THIS WOULD BE YOUR SIBLINGS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS."
I don't mind being contacted with a specific question about one individual, but please don't contact me with open-ended questions about an entire family line. I receive an average of two such emails per week, and since I have a busy work life, I simply do not have the time to type out entire branches of my family tree over and over. Please refer to rootsweb.com and/or ancestry.com which is where I got most if not all of the information. I HAVE NOT POSTED AND WILL NEVER POST MY OWN FAMILY'S PERSONAL TREE ON THE INTERNET, SO THERE IS NO MAGIC LINK TO A MASTER FAMILY TREE THAT I CAN PROVIDE.

I was wanting to ask about the photo you have of Alonzo Walbridge Sr. I was recently in Marseilles, Illinois and re-took photos of his grave and several in the family. His son'e wife, Delilah Mick Walbridge was the elder sister to my great grandmother, Josephine Mick Brodbeck. I'm wondering if you have other photos of their family or information. Anything is helpful!
|E F||Parents of Olive Kendall Wilson|
I came across your photo of the gravestone of Olive Kendall Wilson (Memorial# 30529029). You have listed her parents as John and Mary Kendall. I have seen records to support Mary as her mother, but I haven't seen any records regarding her father. Can you tell me how you know his name? Do you know anything more about him?

May I have your permission to download the photos of the gravestone & footstone of Mary (Ward) Kingsbury (Memorial# 7104254)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.
|Julie Bennett Coleman||Thank you!|
Just wanted to thank you for all of your F.A.G. memorials and wonderful headstone pictures. As someone who lives on the other side of the country, but has many ancestors from Massachusetts, you are a wonderful resource!
|Richard K. Ross||Requesting Permission|
I would like your permission to use, and possibly link to, the photo of the headstone on the memorial of John Preston: 15688587. He is my 6th Great Grandfather on my fathers side. The permission requested is for my personal genealogy and the one I've got on line with Ancestry.com and also for close family that are related too. You take great photos that are easy to read. Thanks for your efforts on Find A Grave, it is really appreciated.
|Patricia J Hawkins||Edward Church's birthdate (#15358255)|
Hi, I'm always pleased to see "the moo" on a memorial, I know the information will be accurate, and the photos as readable as possible.
As it happens, the month and day for Edward Church's birth (February 26) come from a fraudulent genealogy perpetrated by Gerard Anjou.
So -- in fact, the only record of Edward's birth date is his gravestone, which gives his age at death; so c. 1628. It's actually one of the few solid (so to speak) things known about this family before they appear in the Hartford records, if not *the* solid thing. (His mother Anne is reported to have been in her 84th year at death; don't know if that came from a stone or a town record though, it's just listed sourceless in the old genealogies. She would likely be buried at Hatfield, should you have any puzzling "Ann Church 1684" stones around.)
I've been busy untangling this mess over at wikitree; see this discussion: http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/146585/untangling-founding-churches-hartford-incidental-graves?show=146585#q146585
Thanks very much!
Your permission is requested to link the tombstone photo in FindaGrave website of Eunice Loveland (my 6th Great Grandmother) to my family tree in Ancestry.com.
