My name is Angie Hall. I started working on my family history in 1999 but paused after a couple years because I got busy with my career and life. However now that I have retired from the US Navy, I have resumed working on my family history. I currently live in Virginia but spend a lot of time in the Seattle area.|

Something else. Google Earth is a free download on your computer. If you search for Adrian, Bates, MO, it will bring up the town for an aerial view - follow north on 1st Street which goes to the cemetery. The very north section is section one, The next one south from it is Section two. I don't know which direction you will be coming in from, but from I-49 north from Adrian MO you can exit off at AA Hwy 2 miles north of Adrian and follow it west about one mile - there will be a sign on your right saying Crescent Hill Cemetery and an arrow on the sign for you to turn left (south). Cemetery will be down that road less than a mile and to your left (east). If you look at it on Google Earth you can get a better feel of where you are going. I printed off the Google Earth picture of the cemetery because some time this year I am going to make a map to hang on the wall at Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian that I promised them a year ago. Have a safe trip!

Okay, I looked at my picture record plus the copy I made of the 1980 Crescent Hill Cemetery record that I got at the library. The very north part of the cemetery is Section one. He is in section two between Beulah & Charles Moudy (1869-1942, 1868-1939) on one side and L. Marie/James H. Whitney (1820-1893-1808-1896). The stone faces west. So, take you a copy of the stone picture with you. I hope you are able to find it quickly. I walked those rows from left to right (north to south), it would be about 150 stones in approximately. Thanks for your compliment. From 12/28/2013 to 3/10/2014, I took a picture of every stone in that cemetery.

Sorry for the delay myself. One of the memorials I have for Robert Presho Leighton, has a notation that you added the cemetery, though it does not have the date information on when it was added/changed. I do recall several years ago, when I was looking them up, He was correctly listed at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Now he's not. He can be found at Find A Grave Memorial# 43388680.

Sorry this took so long. I have been reviewing and because it was an e-mail instead of a note through findagrave it got into my spam.Any other questions please use the findagrave mode. I hope you are healthy and strong as you begin your family genealogy research again.
