I have been doing genealogy for 40 years or more, started out with my mother and looking in the Seattle Libraries for information on my mother's family. My father knew mostly about his Morse family, where they came from and how they got to the USA. My mother on the other hand didn't know much except for the maiden names of her mother's people. Needless to say it has been a great journey and adventure in not only the history of both sides but a great pleasure in finding out where our people are from and where their final resting places are. I never would have found out or had been able to see where they are had it not of been for other's kindness and love for the same reasoning of being able to find a loved one lost so many years before. Credit is due to others who have helped in this journey, thanks to all of you who have added a picture or information, very much appreciated! | |

 | Barbara Bushaw No problem, Melody. Glad I could help and it is so easy to find the right plot with the on-site locator. At first it was difficult for me to go there because I buried my husband of 47 years there last July but now it has become routine and I wave to him when I go past his plot. If I can be of further help, please don't hesitate. Ada

 | Barbara J. Bushaw Melody... I just posted the picture for Barbara but the location needs to be tweeked a bit....Instead of site 153, it needs to read 15. I also took a picture of a larger portion of the columbarium with hers in the center. If you are interested in it, please let me know and I will gladly send it on to you. | RE: Pearl Downs Hi Melody, I think this is getting confusing. Several request for Downs came at the same time. Irene (d. 1963) wife of Robert L (d. 1956) were not claimed by me. While I do believe the correct photos are posted according to the information on the cemeteries database, you might want to contact the contributor that posted the photos.

 | Phoebe French Abbey I inserted Phoebe's headstone picture into her memorial. The last name on her headstone is ALLYE. Allye is also how she is listed in the Grand Rapids Cemetery database. It was only through reading the information on her memorial page that I was able to find her headstone. Would suggest updating the spelling of her last name.
FYI - her original headstone has been replaced with a newer granite headstone. It appears that fragments from her original headstone are nearby. | | | ReconnectNow
