Want a transfer?
Ask, I'm not a memorial hog.
But only ask if you are going to do updates to the memorial.

ALWAYS check all information for accuracy before adding to your family history.!
I do some research on Muscatine Co, Iowa website, and Ancestry before adding information but I always find typo, mis-spellings of names and incorrect dates.

Also some information is taken from other researchers, Obits, bios and census.

PLEASE let me know if you see any mistakes.

I do the best to add what I can find on the person I entered.

My favorite are families from Muscatine Co, Iowa.

PARR CEMETERY in Pleasant Prairie, Muscatine Co, Iowa. I have entered and am trying to connect all families I have also taken photos of all headstones at Parr.
Please send me ANY information concerning persons buried at Parr Cemetery .

ST JOSEPHS CEMETERY Kettle River, Carlton Co. MN
I think I have entered most burials here.
THANKS to "Sun shine to you" Find A Grave Photo volunteer, she entered all known headstones.

I hope that all this work has helped you connect to your family. Pass it on.
Happy Hunting

#143945255 Anna Byrne
Hi Family Finder,
I just noticed on the Anna Byrne memorial that
there is the name "Charles Byrne" listed as one
of her children (#69466457).

I believe this is a typo. I recently submitted edits to add Clement Byrne as a child (#59578617)
and Infant Byrne (#59578757) but am not sure how this happened or if I entered the wrong numbers when I submitted the edits. Is this something you can correct? Or if not, any advice on how to do so?

Thanks,
Jay

Cone Theodore Baker
I was looking for a memorial for this person. I think he was married to Florence Mae Hartman (1888-1960) at one time and they had a son Calvin.
I tracked his wife down to the L.A. area and I noticed your message. He is not buried in that same cemetery for some reason. I had created a memorial for him and just connected him to his parents and wife. Do you know if this is the same Cone Baker that was married to Florence Hartman Krueger buried in the Lone Tree Cemetery?

William G. Young
Hi since my last post I did a bit of research. The information I have from an article in the newspaper (likely in Crosby)dated Oct 18, 1918 indicates that "Mr. Young had gone to Automba...the fire broke out and he stayed over to assist in fighting the flames...In attempting to flee from the flames he took refuge in an unused well located on his place, but it is evident that he failed to make it in time as ...he was badly burned" The body was brought to Crosby Tuesday morning and taken to the undertaking parlors to be prepared for burial which took place Thursday afternoon...The body was escorted to Lakewood cemetery by a large number of relatives and friends.

While William did lose his life in the 1918 fire in Automba (on property he owned) from this record and what my grandmother (his daughter) told me I do not believe his remains are in a mass grave.

Rather, I believe that he is buried in Lakewood Cemetery. Would you be willing to remove this memorial? He is memoralized on find-a-grave and noted in Lakewood Cemetery.
Thank you,
Pamala Stephens
Great-granddaughter of William

William G. John Young
Thank you so much for noting that my great-grandfather was buried in a mass grave. Sadly that was likely the case given he died in the 1918 fire. His family did have him "buried" as well with a stone as William G. Young. John C. Young was William's father. My grandmother had many happy memories of her "hero" dad and their lives changed forever after that tragic event.

If you are willing perhaps you could transfer this memorial to me: Pamala Stephens 48968598. I can note this memorial along with the cemetary memorial. The cemetary memorial links to his wife Lydia Kraus Young and seven of their eight children.

Thank you

Richard Hancock Parker
You added flowers to this man's memorial. My gggg grandmother was Amanda Parker, her mother was Irena Brown who married Richard R Parker. They died in Monroe County, Arkansas. I can't find the burial sites for any of these three. I saw your note that you do research on the Parker family. If you have any info on this branch, please contact me. Thanks

Maurice Baker
Hi Again! I have begun the digging into the situation as to if Maurice had a brother named John Baker. I have found that Maurice did have a brother named John Baker. The dates of birth and death that I have found are birth in 1794 in Harford County, Maryland and death in 1874 in Scott, Iowa. If these dates match what are on his stone, then I'd say it's a match.

Respectfully,

Tammy Gephardt

Maurice Baker
Hi! I only have just begun working on this branch of my Family Tree so I really know nothing about Maurice Baker at this time. I will however do what I can to help make the connection if there is one. I am sorry that I can't be of more help at this time, other than to tell you what I just learned.

If I find anything out, I will be sure and let you know. Will you also keep me in the loop if you find anything out? I'd appreciate it.

Respectfully,

Tammy Gephardt
