Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 48 years old and have 3 children. Family history has always interested me. Find A Grave is a great way to help others learn more about their own family's past.

Dear Ancestor,

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marbled stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I'd exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
one hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
and come to visit you.

Many thanks, again, for tracking this down and filling gaps. Without your help I probably would not have discovered the second memorial for Richard C. Scobell. All your work was enormously helpful.

Thanks very much for your efforts in documenting the Meech family at Riverside. Helps me fill in some blanks for my husband's family ties to Rochester.

RE: Mary Jane Marr @ Holy Sep
Judy, thanks for all of your work.

I spent about an hour looking looking through census records to try and figure out all of the relations. I believe Marie is the daughter of Thomas, Andrew is Thomas' brother, and everyone else is part of Andrew's family.

However, unlike the Wurzers, I'm not 100% sure what I found for the Marrs is correct. As a result, I'll refrain from making any edits for now.
