Bio and Links
Bio Photo My interests in genealogy lies with my family's roots in southern West Virginia. Walkers on my mothers side and Hatchers on my fathers side.
My cousin, Glennis Walker, wrote a 700+ page book of the Walker History going back to 1734. I took an interest of photographing headstones of ancestors in the cemeteries I was familiar with and then it spread out to larger ones in Beckley and now I am trying to find EVERY cemetery named in this book. I am compiling Find A Grave printouts and cross referencing them to the page they appear in the Walker History book.
I will never ask for a transfer of a memorial that I am not related to the person. I hope one of these days my grandson and future generations to come will appreciate our efforts.
Thanks to Find A Grave volunteer photogs I have received headstone pictures as far away as California and Oregon. Once, while visiting my in-laws in southern Texas, I went to Ft. Sam Houston and found the grave of my third cousin that was killed in WWII.
Other family names in my genealogy are Bailey, Mills, McComas, Lilly, Meadows, Wallace, Woods, Daniels, among others.

In June, 2016 I completed inputting Glennis Walker's "The History of The Walker Family 1734 - 1990 & Their Kindred" book on an online family tree along with all the stories he included in the book. If your family is in this book and you would like to view the tree, please email me and I will supply you with the link and password.

REGARDING EDITS:

Before you send an edit request for names, dates, or links, please provide proof backing up your information. I won't change or add any information on my memorials without official documentation, such as; marriage license, death or birth certificates or newspaper obituaries. Just because you say so, doesn't mean it is. I don't particularly trust census reports or information someone posted on ancestry sites to be adequate proof, so if you could, please provide official documents listed above. I'm into this for accurate information on my memorials, not for numbers where census reports are used to create memorials with problems, just to get a number on my profile. Also, if you don't accept messages on your message board or provide an email address in case I have questions, don't expect me to make any changes. Again, just because you say so, doesn't mean it is!

Meadows
Do you have any information on the Doris Southcomb Meadows whose grave you have added. I am interested in a Nellie Epple Southcomb who is buried in Franklin County. I believe her mother was a Martin from Washington County PA and I have some old photos of the family and am wondering if this Nellie Epple is related to my Martin family.

RE: Howard S. Peters
I transferred Howard to you. In this case i think his SSDI is right and the stone is misspelled. You can link him up.
I don't think i am kin to the Walkers, but my Step Daughter is. You can go ahead and send the link. If i have more of kin that is not related to me that you would like to manage then let me know and i will transfer them to you. F. Hylton

Howard S. Peters
Hi Bevera, Went ahead and accepted your correction and deleted his parents .Then i looked on his social security death index and it had him as Howard F. Peters. So that might of been his parents and the S. was just misspelled. Don't know F. Hylton
