Leonora Estella "Lee" Parker Green
Hello Gilbert,

I made the correction to Leonora's memorial as you requested. I also added the burial plot location to her memorial and her husband's memorial. I also added her middle name (obtained from the Madronia cemetery records). It is either Estella or Estelle. You may know which one it is.

I see you have done quite a bit of research for Col Gilbert Everhard Parker. I also notice you left flowers for "Aunt Lee". I would guess you are related.

If you are related, it would be my honor to transfer your Aunt Lee and her husband Charles to you for safe keeping, care, and loving.

Let me know if you would like me to transfer them.

Your link helped me fill in some blanks. It also answered how what you have got to CA. One of the girls moved there with her spouse

I replied to your email, so I apologize for the redundancy. My great-grandfather was Jonas Lorenzen. There is more detail in my email. Thank you...Doris

Abbetts at El Camino
I'm adding photos from Honor Terrace and noticed you had claimed a photo request. I will delete my photos if you want to keep the claim (my photos are not good as they have shadows)

You know sometime I think the photo demons are out to get me. I swear I hit the right photo and wait for it to download only to find it wrong....Certainly it couldn't be that I have been doing this too many hours and my two index fingers are hitting the wrong keys...I love competition with errors. Hey we are a team looking out for each one. We'll get it done thanks

Lt. Col. Bernardine H. Armstrong
Good morning! While researching my grandfather's Merchant Marine ship this morning, I came across LTC Armstrong's obituary, which is fascinating. Email is down, otherwise I would have sent it to you via SAC. Let me know if you want me to post the pertinent info to your profile for you to add to her memorial

Have a great day!

#63679680 - Corp Donanciano Miguel Pico
hi gilbert. we have a little problem on the findagrave site. there are 3 entries for Corp. Donanciano Miguel Pico. yours, mine and
stephen siemsen (aka Steve who has posted many vets online)

would you mind deleting yours? i have deleted mine. waiting for findagrave to delete it though, still on there for some reason.
the other maintained by a couple and i have asked them to enter all the info from ours, if any missing on their entry, to that entry.

this is from steve, just today:

I don't know what happened, but there are now TWO Donaciano Miguel Pico's in Calvary Cemetery with identical photos and bios. BOTH of these memorials are located at the grave of Miguel Pico y LOPEZ, who was NOT a Civil War veteran. The Civil War veteran, (Donaciano) Miguel Pico y VALENZUELA is buried in the Cienegitas Cemetery under a veteran's gravemarker, there is NO marker at the grave in Calvary Cemetery. Please do NOT delete the memorial, just change the name and birth and death dates (the ones I sent you using the 'edit' function). If the photo you posted is of Miguel Pico y Valenzuela, please consider deleting it and posting it on the memorial to Corp. Pico in Cienegitas Cemetery.

so i am mistaken also, i thought he was at calvary but he is at cieneguitas cemetery according to steve.

thanks, ok? contact steve if you have more questions.

take care cousin gilbert,
sincerely, terry chaffee

Burwells in El camino
I don't know if I ever replied to your question about a year ago. As far as I can tell, Ronald Burwell is not related to Donald Burwell. Of course, I may be proven wrong, but his parents don't seem to be related directly to the Burwell family that Doanld is part of.
