Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Malibu, California with my husband and two sons. I began genealogy research 14 years ago to learn more about the people who came before me. This has led me to a very interesting journey of discovery where I have met so many wonderful people and have gained dozens of cousins that I never knew existed. Now I have family all over the world!

The memorials that I care for and manage are ONLY direct ancestors of mine. I have tried to add as much intersting information that I could find into their bios. I am sure that there is a lot more that I don't know and would love any information that you can share with me.

RE: Susanna (Callendar) Austin
I found the foot stone for Susanna and put it on her Find A Grave page. You can see the S. A.
I have been unable to locate Gad. I've check all around her stone. There are several very small pieces of stone nearby, but unidentifiable. I also checked two resources "Cemetery Inscriptions in Sheffield, Ma" compiled by Cynthia Tryon Hoogs in 1987 and Joseph Kellogg's Manuscript of Sheffield Cemeteries dated 1938 and neither mention Gad Austin. I'll check the records next in the Town Hall and see if I can find any further info.

Lorenzo Potter
Please take a look at your memorial # 125347415 and compare it to Find A Grave Memorial# 69331292.
With the research and corrections I have made today it appears that many people have combined information on two different Lorenzo Potter's on various different websites.

This link shows whom I believe to be the correct Lorenzo married to Adeline Furman.

This link is for the Lorenzo who was married to Amy Whipple and is the son of Thomas and Laura Tyrrell Potter. I am still looking for more sources, especially proof of birth, including birth dates and death records on both Lorenzo's.

Thanks for your help with straightening out these two gentleman. I'm not sure that I have everyone lined up correctly, so any suggestions or extra information you have is appreciated.

RE: Maj John Mason
OK, I found the memorial with the etching. The photo caption refers to the book where the etching was found. I tend to disagree with your comment about the etching looks like someone from the mid 1900's. To me it looks more like a Roman Senator. The book is packed away but when I find it I will forward you a copy of his bio and we can then determine if its the "right" John Mason. May take a little time but stay with me.

RE: Maj. John Mason
I'm confused. The memorial for John Mason is not mine. When I looked I found no "etching". I would help if I knew how but without clarification I'm at a loss.

RE: Maj John Mason
Please send me the memorial #. I don't remember "John" and don't know how to find him. Thanks.
