Bio and Links
Have researched my family lines since I was 11, just for the pure fun of it and to learn where I came from.

Wendell, Fox, Ward and Beckwith, Ingham families of upstate New York. Gould's and Haner's of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Van Loan in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Corbin of New Jersey and Conneticut.

Mears of Tennessee and Oregon.

Clark's and Berrian's from around Peoria County, Illinois.
Wells family from Maryland, through Kentucky, to Illinois

Hahn, Bollinger, Croan, DeMott families of Missouri and Kansas.

Thain, Dittmar and Hammer in Illinois.

Talbert in DeSoto and Caddo Parish, Louisiana
Lambeth in Louisiana and Texas. Sparkman of Texas and Oklahoma.

If someone is of your family feel free to contact me to transfer them to you. I feel families should have access to their family, unlike some who are just interested in the number of memorials they maintain and are so within themselves which destroys the purpose of this sharing information....

Thank you so very much for maintaining this page. I have been searching some years now on information about one of Virgil's brother's and my GGgrandfather) Samuel W. Peringer b about 1851. There isn't much to go on except we know where he was born and died, we know he was in the Indian Wars, married at age 19 to a Mary E Bosing/Boring in 1869 at Bourbon Co, KS, and married a 2nd time not sure when cause we have pictures of his step children and we think there were 8 children. Samuel worked many years as a machinist in KS, MO, CA and perhaps in WA and/or OR. His son John Allen Peringer is my maternal grandfather born in Fall River, MO. I have obtained some pics of him as a young man from a cousin in Oregon, (she is the first child born of John's first marriage to Beulah Ann Igou) but my cousin states once he and his first wife divorced, sometime between 1915 and 1920, the family lost contact with John. Fortunately I was able to shed light on where he had gone, but We have yet to close the gap on Samuel. We know he lived some of his elder years with eldest son James B. Peringer and wife Laura Belle Gray in CA sometime in his early 80's before going to the Soldier's home in Levenworth, KS and then buried in 1932 in the Soldier's memorial cemetary in Oklahoma City, OK. I know that many of the men in the family were Mason's and I also know that the surname Peringer is listed among the Jewish surnames used when Jews were leaving Galatia (area of Spain before WWI). I have no idea if they even were Jewish as there seems to be no trace of any practiced faith except Christianity. If you can shed any light on Samuel W Peringer, it would be greatly appreciated and you can reach me at Many thanks in advance, and again, thank you.

I created her memorial in 2014 and it has links to her spouse, parents and 6 siblings.

I did copy her bio from your memorial.

If you wish I can transfer 139889040 to you and you can delete the one you created in 2016 which only has a link to her spouse.

Let me know your wishes.

William Logsdon - FAG Memorial# 106915137
William Logsdon - Find A Grave Memorial# 106915137.
The information on this memorial is "pure speculation" and hasn't been proven. Please site your sources for information that you added. It is very misleading to others who are researching this family and a waste of time. He was not the Will'm that was transported by Colonial Samuel Smith. There is no marriage at Port Tobacco. Please don't make memorials for people that you haven't proven is factual. There were many William Logsdon's in England that could be him IF in fact he came from England. Thank you!

Vincent Tapp - Find A Grave Memorial# 158365046

I am a descendant of the native american Tapp family and I am wondering where you obtained the information in which you created this memorial from? I see there is no cemetery, and a note that the body was lost or destroyed or possible buried on the Tapp farm.

Could you share with me the information that you have for this Vincent Tapp in which you state for his birth, death, and children?

Thank you,
Cari Tapp-Wilkes

You have a different mother for her. What information do you have on that?

Your suggested edits
It would be nice if you would cite your source so the information could be verified. Normally, if the information can not be verified it is rejected. Last week I had a suggestion that was inaccurate. I had to find their ancestor to validate that they were erroneous in their assertion. That is time consuming. So much easier to cite your source for validation. Thank you,
