Simply put, my goal is to help others. I don't like errors; if you find any, or if you would like me to transfer ownership, add relationship links, or add additional information, please let me know.|
I have several pets on this site. One of my pets, though, was really smart and even wrote his own autobiography/obituary! If you have a few minutes, "Pokey's" thoughts and life remembrances are a pretty interesting read, I thought anyway!
Simply search my records for Pokey Ferguson.
Thanks and Have A Wonderful Day!

John, Would you kindly consider transferring to me the Memorial page for John Daniel Smith? He was my 4th Great Grand father. I was taken back by the degradation of his gravestone within the past 7 years when comparing photos I took on Thanks giving Day (2015) to the one you posted 7 years earlier (to the date). What a change in appearance! Do you happen to remember if your photo was taken in 2008? Would you happen to know if there is a registry of gravestones and if so, who has it? I think I have other relatives buried there. Thank you, Becky
Please transfer Mary Gibson at Thornburg Cemetery Arkansas to me. There are several updates I would like to make and am unable to at this time. Mary Gist Gibson is my sister

Thanks in advance. I certainly respect the work you have done!
Many thanks for posting the photo for Alfred's gravestone! I greatly appreciate the clarity and contrast which clearly show all information. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated, Carol

Hi John, I noticed that you put a photo on the memorial for Roy Graves. Are you related to this family? His brother was my grandfather.

Joe E Dedman would have been a cousin to Hugh Edward Dedman. Joe's father, Robert F Dedman, was a brother of Hugh's father, Richard DeCabb Dedman, Jr.

Hi John, I have spent over a week discovering many new family members of the Dedman clan in south central Arkansas. My paternal great uncle by marriage was Jodie Edwin Dedman (Joe E Dedman), who was a son of Robert F Dedman. I think I have documented at least four cemeteries in Dallas, Calhoun, and Jefferson Counties. My joy is to 'put flesh on the bones' of my ancestors and so much appreciate your work on Find A Grave. Check out Joe E Dedman, F/G Mem # 108864624 w/links to many more. I live in the Longview, Texas area. Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
