THANK YOU! so very much for adding bio info and replying so quickly. I will make a memorial for Jane and I'm wondering if we are allowed to copy the photo you have of her stone onto findagrave....with proper crediting of the source?
again much appreciation!

Dave, I thank you again for the updates and transfer of David "Tom" Lindley's memorial.
I can't tell you what it means to me!!
I have been doing family research since the '60s and am currently compiling a family history manuscript. I have family history about Tom, but would like to include the details I've read in the memorial you created, as I have nothing in depth, such as what you've written.
If you wouldn't mind, I would like your permission to use this info and will certainly credit you as the author. If it's okay, would you please send me a note with your okay and info at
I appreciate all you've done and the wonderful words you've written in Tom's memory.
I hope you had a wonderful time fishing for trout!
Take care and again, my deepest appreciation!

You are most welcome. I did have fun. I actually found Highland Cemetery by accident; it is marked as .3 miles North of it's real location. I thought I was in a section of Orchard Grove Cemetery when I saw Lyman's grave.
I'll get the rotated one up shortly.
you were not kidding! spent 6 hours going through registers at the historical society and find no mention of him at all..only reference so far is a WPA index card that states his name and burial date, but no mention of the cemetery..will keep looking :)

I will be in Camden on Thursday of next week and will be happy to check around for information regarding this soldier. My Great Grandfather is buried at Evergreen, and we finally found him after 30 years of searching about 6 weeks ago. I will update soon

I'm glad I could assist with Michael Garvey. I work not far from the cemetery so I skip lunch and go looking for monuments. Unfortunately, Malden is too far from work to be able to go during my lunch. I live in New Hampshire and Malden is about a 100 mile round trip since I'd have to go on a weekend. As such, it's pretty unlikely that I'd be making that trip any time soon. I'll keep you in mind if I ever do go there.
Keep up the good work!
Disregard that last message....just checked out your virtual cemeteries....Bravo!
If you're ever out in TN please give me a shout. I manage a golf course (www.sweetenscovegolfclub.com) and am one of the owners of Scratch Golf (www.scratchgolf.com).
Always nice to meet a fellow tadophile that also enjoys golf.

My pleasure Karl.
I added a pic/created a profile for Seth's wife and just added a pic for HJ Whigham.
Are you a big fan of golf course architecture?
