Thank you. I can relate to your problem, although it is mostly a problem for me with Catholic cemeteries especially those that still rely on hand written paper documents. Fortunately for me, I have a good working relationship with the man in charge of the Woodland Cemetery where I do most of my volunteer work.

RE: Virgil McCrary
This is a bit delayed as I've been out of the country for the past few weeks - but I noted your message indicating that Virgil McCrary's (Memorial # 171686498) wife's memorial - Jean #6486990 - was created by a volunteer who is now deceased. I contacted Findagrave and had them transfer the memorial as you suggested. I was just wondering for future reference, how did you know that the volunteer was deceased? Also, how does Findagrave know to take over management of a memorial for a member who is deceased? Is it after a certain period of inactivity? Just curious to know how the process works if you can shed any light on that. Thanks again for the photograph!

Proof of birth date needed. I do not find it. Edit declined but if you have proof send it and submit a new request

You are very welcome. Her grave is located on private property in a very old and overgrown cemetery.

Thanks for the reply. I always use the edit tab. I also send documentation for my edits (i.e, death certificates, marrige certificates, etc.) because some people won't do the edits without supporting documents. That may be what confused you.

NIG Pollard #147173305
Hello. You created a page for NIG Pollard #147173305 and a page for R M Pollard #147173293.
Based on the dates, I would assume that R M is Richard Merriman Pollard and NIG should be his wife, Margurette Marce (Frazer) Pollard. Can you confirm this with the cemetery personnel? I am having trouble finding anything for an Nig Pollard and can't see how one gets Nig out of Margurette. Richard was a third cousin to my sister-in-law.

RE: Virgil McCrary
Hi, I am responding to your message from September 20th regarding my photo request for Virgil Norris McCrary (Memorial #161021067). You had reported that the cemetery, Sparkman Hillcrest, does not provide burial locations, citing privacy concerns. I called and obtained the burial location from them. He is located in the Garden of Eternity, Block 10, Lot 27, Space 1. Let me know if I need to re-submit my photo request with this or if you will be able to fulfill it with this additional info. Thank you!

Thank you for checking. I think she is the only one there. Her husband may have been cremated or buried somewhere in Arizona.
