To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die....|
Spending time on FAG is a lot of fun, but the best part is meeting so many wonderful people, like you. My daughter Courtney and I have been working together for 25+ years on our family's genealogy. Over the years we've discovered some exciting and unknown information on cemetery headstones. We really enjoy spending time wandering through cemeteries absorbing the history that they alone provide.
After finding out first hand how important headstone information can be we decided to record local information in the hopes that we would be able to help someone else. If you run into a friend or relative through our listings please let us know. I will be happy to make any corrections or additions you feel are necessary.
We may not have known each and every individual personally, but we are touched by each entry we have left and realize that our oneness is our common bond. May you find comfort and happiness each and every day of your lives.
Please stop by to leave a token for:
My mother: Ayletha Caple
My father: Robert Caple
My sister-in-law: Kris Caple

Thank you ever so much, Candice, for creating Dominga's lovely memorial and for transferring her memorial to me. She was an amazing woman and I am very honored to sponsor and manage her memorial. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!

Thank You so much for transferring.
|Lars Eighner||John W B Brashears|
Of course I mean born 1808.
|Lars Eighner||John W B Brashears|
Is it possible John was actually born about 1908?
I am looking at the 1860 census and the family seems to be more or less intact, but J. Brashears is 52 and D. Brashears is 53.
I believe Elizabeth Brashears (E. Brashears 16yo in census, married her near neighbor William Newton Arthur whose fist wife died in 1862 (Apr 9). I believe he married Elizabeth 3 Aug 1862. He had many children under 10 which may explain the prompt remarriage and also the fact that Elizabeth expired 22 Jan 1863. Obviously they had no children. He is my great great grandfather through his third wife Elizabeth Jane Arthur.

Thank you for transferring my maternal great grandfather to me. There is very little known about James and his brother John, other than assuming they came from County Antrim, Ireland. James died in a mining accident, leaving his Jerome, Arizona estate to my grandmother, his minor child who resided in CA. Unfortunately, she was raised by her uncle and grandmother and died young, not knowing or sharing family genealogy. Diane
