You fulfilled a headstone request with a family photograph?
After the holidays lets exchange info. The Doyles were kin to my grandmother thru marriage I believe. She was my step grandma. Her sister married into the Doyle family. After the holidays another Doyle researcher and I are going to work together as well. My Helton's came from Wallins Creek, Harlan County, Ky. There is another lady who has been doing some Landers research as well. Just let me have some names and I can check with her as well. Have a great Christmas!
Do you have Lander relatives in Bourbon County, KY? Also, there is a web page dedicated to the Lander family. It is 17 pages long and tells of the Landers. I don't have the web address, but I'm sure if you Google it, it will come up for you. There is also a Landers graveyard in Bourbon County. Hope this will help. Have a great Christmas!

Thank you so much for this information. Margrieta is a mystery! My research takes me to Kentucky and Indiana for her. I am visiting Kentucky in August, perhaps this will help. War Regards, Ruth

Found some info for you on Alma. They resided on the Frank Worden farm west of Sharpsville and she died at the home Wednesday morning at 7:30 (May 27, 1925). Her death was due to complications. She had been in poor health for the past year and a half. Her maiden name was Alma Kuhn and she was left an orphan when a very small child and was reared to womanhood by Mr. and Mrs. James Goble west of Sharpsville. Mr. Goble was her uncle. She was born in Franklin county and is survived by her husband and two children, Mildred six years old and Stanley Eugene about nine months old.

I glad you like the memorial. I feel it is important for us to remember our ancestors and know where their final resting place is. Check out the listings for Letitia Shuck Branham Brown, Mary Edna Holcomb and Ida Pearl Shuck Jochim. They are the daughters of George and Nancy. None of the three sisters had memorials, so we had them made. I do have pictures of all the memorials for George and Nancy's children and most have been posted on Find a Grave by others. I will be posting information on the families as I get the time. I have been researching the Shuck family for many years and there is always something new to add!

There isn't much room to leave a message here. I am interested in our family history. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Here is a photo that I found on the web.
It doesn't belong to me, but James Benton and more family are in this photo.
