Bio and Links
Bio Photo Even as a very young child, I loved walking around the cemeteries with my grandma, Bertha Tolbert (133873460) She would show me our family's graves, and tell a little story of each one, as we walked them. Now I take my camera.

I am not sitting at home with a book of obituaries, or cruising the funeral home and newspaper obituaries just to build up my numbers. (Where's the reward in that?) Other than my family, and friends, all the memorials I create are from walking the cemeteries with my camera. I do it so someone can find their departed, and I can transfer them. I will always transfer memorials.

A sincere, heartfelt, thank you to all who visit my "loved ones" I appreciate it very much.

Among others, these are three scripture that I try to live by:

~ Ephesians 4:32 ~
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

~ James 4:17 ~
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth not, to him it is sin."

~ Matthew 25:40 ~
"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

Be kind one to another, for what we do to one another, we do to Jesus.

The Lord's Blessings to all

RE: O. S. Holloway
Roxie, thanks for your quick reply.

I plan on being back in Ohio in 2 weeks, will try to go back to Rock Hill and see where the marker is in relation to the stone in the photo on his memorial page.

There has been some vandalism at that cemetery. I want to take a closer look at the stones that are on the ground, face down. I can't set them back where they belong by myself, but I'm hoping I can at least turn them over so the inscriptions can be read.... need to contact someone at that church to see if they can get some volunteers to help put things back together.

Best regards

O. S. Holloway
Roxie - I was at the Rock Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Belmont County last weekend and I photographed a gravestone for what looked like O. S. Holloway... it is entirely different than the stone you have on his memorial. I posted it on his memorial page so you could see it and maybe make some sense of it. Maybe it's the original stone for him? Maybe it's not O. S. but G. S., or some other person? In any event, I'd be interested in what you think ... and of course get rid of the photo, or move it, if it's for an entirely different person. Best wishes, and keep up your great work! Pete S.

Vera (Gay) Kennedy
Since she appears to have been one of your relatives, would you like for me to transfer Vera Kennedy's memorial to you? I stumbled on her death certificate when looking for a different Kennedy, so set up a memorial for her. Sharon
