Always wanted to know those that walked before me, and to keep remembering the ones I love, that are sleeping.|

The History of Jack County Texas is a wonderful book. I bought it a few years ago. It was printed for the Jack County Genealogical Society for the Sesquicentennial Celebration of TX (1836 - 1986) by Curtis Media Corporation in 1985.
Here are a couple of links selling the book for $195:
Hope this helps.

It came off the Library of Congress website of Civil War images. I could not tell you who the Photographer is because they did post it with the photo as far as I remember.

FindAGrave member, William Alton Norton (inactive) (#46875532), created Joseph's memorial. Another member, Zombie Finder, added his photo.
However, I do maintain quite a few memorials for other Bakers in Jack County, TX. The Jack County book is wonderful, but it is so large that it is hard to handle. Not complaining though. :-)
Have a nice day.

Hi Renee. I noticed that Jesse didn't have a memorial, so I created him one. Would you like for me to transfer management of them to you?

You are very welcome. I hope to finish uploading more as time permits.

Thank you again for the pictures and I can't wait to see more pictures. I wouldn't be surprised if I was related to most of the people in the cemetery. Haha. I also volunteer to take pictures and I wouldn't do anything to the stones, but take pictures. I do clean them off some if they have grass clippings or leaves on them. I bought a little brush & dustpan from the dollar store and it does quite well for that kind of job. I don't know if you are somewhat new at doing this, but if you should need some advice or any help let me know. Hopefully, this summer I will have enough time when I come back to WI (I live in OH) to get up to Mt. Repose to clean up their stones and get rid of the moss. Thank you again.

Thanks for your kind words and additional information.

I bought it on Ebay several years ago. It is a nice book, and is very heavy with 886 numbered pages. I almost strain every time I pick it up. :-)
