Find A Grave Memorial# 55945243
I've added the headstone photo and see your photo of parent's grave. I'd like to link him to the parents, but can not find where that marker you posted is on Find A Grave. Can you help me?
Thank you for all you do.

Thanks for your efforts, they are much appreciated. I would like to point out a transcription problem with the grave for Joseph Charles Mappin at Netherfield,St John the Baptist Churchyard, your ref# 84256322. You show his dates as 1823 - 1907. He was born 3 Aug 1828 and died 19 Aug 1901. I guess the numbers are blurred.

Could you please add a photo of the old Quaker burial ground section of the churchyard(used between 1694 and 1732) marked by four stone corner posts?

I filled the request you had for Major White in Forrabury. I also gave you the inscription in the new Suggest a Corrections which will be under the Edit tab at the top of your page.

Hello there, My name is Paul Gilzean, I have been tracing some of my family history for my Dad and his Brother. You added an entry on this site over 9 years ago for my Uncle, Douglas Oliver Gilzean died 27th May 1945, Papeete, Windward Islands, French Polynesia. He was a Stoker 2nd Class on HMS Lamont. I just wondered did you know him that you added him or do you have any more information pertaining to his death. I ask as the family have differing stories as to how he died out there. Any information you may have would be fantastic.
my email address is email@example.com
Many Thanks and kind regards,

Thanks for trying again on my behalf. Will need to read the guidelines. I take on board what you say about Find A Grave being USA biased, but James Ross's discoveries are of universal importance and interest. I know I preach to the converted, but if there is any chance that the censors read this................. !!!

I was curious when I saw that you had four famous rejected. I was incensed when I saw that the famous polar explorer had been rejected. As you correctly point out, apart from anything else that he achieved, the discovery of the Magnetic North Pole was a major leap in aiding accurate navigation. What can I do to persuade the uneducated who rejected your proposal ? How did you find the grave ?
