It is my humble opinion that when you create a F.A.G. Memorial, you are creating a lasting tribute. Create the memorial you would like created for yourself; don't settle for mediocrity. Take your time and last but not least; leave a free virtual flower; it's only a few more clicks on the keyboard and cost you nothing.

FYI: an honorably discharged Veteran may be entitled to a bronze/granite marker and/or other burial benefits. To learn more go to https://www.ebenefits.va.gov and search Burial Benefits.

While some people may find walking through a cemetery looking at markers of people they don't even know a bit strange, I find it quite interesting.

I find the history, tranquility, unique markers, features and structures not just interesting, but relaxing. Retrieving information and taking pictures for others along the way makes it rewarding as well.

TRANSFERS... If you have some connection to a memorial I created don't hesitate to ask for a transfer. Of course if there is a connection you will have already graciously placed a virtual flower on their memorial at no cost. Unless they are related to me, or I see you haven't taken the time or interest to place a flower, I will probably make the transfer. Not a number chaser here, not keeping score so make the request.

Be sure to use the "EDIT", Suggest A Correction feature if you find a memorial I manage with an error. Most of the memorials I've added are found by walking cemeteries, so transfers are no problem. Be sure to use the Suggest A Correction feature so that I can be sure to work with the correct memorial entry.

Chances are that I won't write back to your request unless I have some question about the information you've sent me. Otherwise, I'll update the memorials as quickly as I can.

Corrections to memorials will be honored when politely sent through the "EDIT" tab on each memorial.

REMEMBER... "It's only a mistake if you fail to correct it."

NOTE: - GUIDELINES... definition of...

A guideline is a statement by which to determine a course of action. By definition, following a guideline is never mandatory. Guidelines are NOT binding.
