I am just here, making a small footprint, creating memorials and photographing burial sites.
This began as a healing process. Recording the death of someone is in honor of their life, and never meant to disrespect those left to mourn. I understand the pain of losing family and friends; and also the awe of finding an ancestor. It is bittersweet in some ways..
Please leave a flower for my mother, June; Father, Jack; and my two sisters, Kay Rose and Gwen ~ Thank you!
My family line is: Smith of IN/Germany; Carpenter of LA; Klein of LA/Germany; Girard of LA/France; Van Auken of IN/Holland; Van Wormer of NY/Holland (etc); which we all know....leads to many others :)
I will not transfer family members or close friends, unless it is a mandatory. However, should you want a transfer, please explain your relationship, as all requests will be considered individually.
If you ask me to include information on a memorial, please explain your sources. Having spent many hours trying to correct errors on my own family members, I'd prefer not to be the one who spreads misinformation on anyone else's family members. Thanks, in advance, for understanding.
This is not a game for me and am not here to "rack up the numbers". If you think I have a lot, think again.
And, last but NOT least, don't cry or complain on my wall, please. That's what my email is for, besides it is rude to leave ugly messages. I'd prefer to discuss an issue rather than try to communicate via wall postings....ugly will result in no communication whatsoever and get neither of us anywhere...Life is short, be nice, play kind, and don't sweat the small stuff...
I just added a lady to Marvin Prevost Memorial Cemetery while looking for someone else. Have you ever been to this cemetery? I only ask because you have the only other entry, this Carson Prevost. I do not know him or the lady I entered. Just wondering if this is a small family cemetery?
Your sister Gwen left us much too young. My mother-in-law also died of that same kind of cancer. My prayers to you and your entire family. Hope you and yours have a great weekend!
