If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, don't hesitate to request a transfer.

Any photo I have posted on Find a Grave is intended to be used.... Please feel free to use them in personal use and documentation.

Searching means finding the other entry, even though it may contain an error and working together means sending an edit.

Links, Corrections, Transfers and/or additional information
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.

PLEASE NOTE!!!
Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate. For further information on this, please refer to how Find a Grave handles duplicate memorials.

Lastly and most importantly
There are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

MOTTO TO LIVE BY
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

- Hunter S. Thompson

Transfer of memorial
Ms. Claxton, I'd greatly appreciate it if you would transfer Find A Grave# 128601649 (Charles Elmer Nichols) to me. He is my brother-in-law.

Thank you.

Hi- I want to thank you for the photos for her memorial, I really appreciate you for spending your time and talents on my behalf. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind removing the close up of my aunt, there seems to be some droppings that are distracting. Thanks!

You are welcome, but do you really want the picture removed? I tried to scrape off that thing from the gravestone, but what I can recall, it would not come off, or that was an actual hole in the stone, so it will stay there, until it is filled or painted; just what I recall. It did bother me too. A lot of stones either have worn areas, spots or badly ruined markers,

RE: Henry Williams
Genealogy Bank, San Diego Union Newspaper Saturday Feb. 1, 1930, page 15.
"WILLIAMS - At 4646 Bancroft street, Jan. 31, 1930, Rev. Henry R. Williams, beloved father of Mrs. Jane O'Rear, Coarse Gold, Calif.; Edna Schiewe, Portland, Ore.; Mae Busenbark, Rupert Thomas Williams, Fresno, Calif.; brother Thomas R. Williams, Ilion, N.Y.; grandfather of Rachel Michael, San Diego: a member of A.O.U.W. of Guthrie, Okla. Friends are invited to attend services Monday, Feb. 3, 1930, at 2 p.m. from the Calvary Presbyterian church, Thirty-ninth and Franklin streets. Rev. C.H. Miller, Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Guy Wadsworth officiating. Interment Greenwood Memorial Park. Bonham Brothers mortuary service." In 1930 there was the San Diego Evening Tribune and the San Diego Union, 2 different papers. The 2 newspapers merged in to one, the San Diego Union-Tribune or U-T, Feb. 1992. I am confused as to where you looked for the citation. Kind Regards, Dena
