Please take note that any pictures taken as a request by myself will be used for my familytree. I started to really get into genealogy in about 2010. I utilize this as well as other websites. If I take a photo for you, you may do as you like with it.

I enjoy helping others with their genealogy and I have a lot of info especially for the Westchester, NY area.

I will be happy to transfer anyone to you that is not near and dear to my heart. Please tell me your relationship and if you are closer to the person that I am, I will transfer them to you. I have recently added veterans from Westchester, NY that are buried in Yonkers. Most of them are not related to me. In addition. most of the people that I have added photos and other info for in North Carolina, are also not related to me and I would be glad to transfer them.

Also, if you do not hear from me please right away, please resend your message in a few weeks. Like anyone else, I go through busy periods.

I have just found out that I need a person's contributer ID in order to transfer a person to them. Please include it with any messages for transfer that you send me.

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust."

Maria Belterri Birthday
Is Maria Belterri's birthday September 14, 1934 or July 14, 1934? Look at the new headstone photo for Maria and Alfred taken in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, New York. Thank you for your volunteering and much appreciated help. My best, James B. Conklin, Jr.

your request for photo - Ralph Alston
You requested a photo of the grave of Ralph Alston (b. 1920, d. 1991) at the Pittsboro Community Cemetery in Pittsboro, NC. I searched for this grave but had no success; however, there is a grave in that cemetery for Ralph Alston (b. 1900, d. 1992). Could this be the Ralph Alston you're looking for?

Cassidy at St Joseph Cemetery
You have a request at St Joseph Cemetery in Lyndhurst NJ. I've been to this cemetery and have so far only noted 1 grace, a family headstone, with the names DUNN GLEASON CASSIDY. There are no first names or date on it. Could this be the one you want ? If not, I will check again but the stones are not marked with section and grave space so they are hard to find. Martha

hi id like to get you the pixs but this cemetery is being difficult now as you can see by how many requests are open there. years ago I got my grandfathers info from them...I called, they gave me the location and they emailed it to me. I called to get some info for a few other members and they told me I had to be there by 4....impossible since I wont be home before 4 and they are closed on the weekend....and they couldn't email it to me since it took to much time to locate!!! maybe i had a difficult person I don't know but I suggest that you call and tell them your out of town and need the info and email it to you.....I can then obtain the info for you before the weather gets to bad. please keep me posted. thanks

RE: Alexander McGinigle
Wow~ you found a lot of additional information! Thank you ever so much!

It is the Clews/Clewes connection that I am mostly interested in so if you happen to come across more about their mother, Margaret, I would be ecstatic.

It all started with Mary MgGinigle, who might be the Maisie you mentioned. She was married at least three times but I have only been able to credibly establish her first marraige to Robert Anderson. Her social security application / claims also have her as Dumas and later Amanti, her name when she died. She had a least one son, Robert Anderson Jr. My trail runs cold there.

Again, many thanks for the extra info. I'll get cracking on that immediately!

Just to be clear--she's buried in that lot. But the GUTRIE stone is the only one there. Click on the photo to enlarge it and reveal the caption.
