It would be a treasure to me if I could find headstones for the following people:
Bartlett S Byrd 14 Sep 1824 - 1905 (supposedly buried in Mississippi)
Belle McGuillan Byrd Dates Unknown (of California, but moved to Mississippi/second wife of Bartlett S Byrd and rumored to be a "mail-order" bride - figuring she is likely buried wherever Bartlett Byrd is)
Hezekiah Byrd abt 1787 - 29 Jan 1859 (born in South Carolina, died in Greene, Mississippi)
Mariah Monk Byrd b: abt 1793 (born in South Carolina, thought to have died in Greene, Mississippi)

Anne Caroline Stover Smith Crissa, Recent Y-DNA analysis have indicated I am directly related to the first husband of Anne Caroline Stover Smith. Her first husband was Neil McKay Smith and I believe he was killed on March 19, 1849 perhaps along with his brother Alexander McKay Smith in Wilcox County, AL. Would you have any information or suggestions to finding more about these two men and/or the event surrounding their deaths? I noted the "Genealogy of the McWillie and Cunningham Families" posted to the memorial for Anne Smith. How would I find out if this book might contain information about Neil Smith? Does any of your research include the current descendants of the sons of Anne and Neil Smith? I believe I have found two more sons of Anne and Neil not listed on Anne's memorial page: Charles McKay Smith born in 1842 and Thomas M. Smith born in 1845, both in Wilcox County, AL. My email is email@example.com Thanks Bill Hately
Sarah "Sallie" Granberry Hammond is the sister of my great great-grandfather, Simeon Travis Granberry. She was the wife of Leroy Washington Hammond. You have your John as being born in Georgia in 1853. Would you tell me the source of that info. as I cannot find a census, or any record, where their John is listed as being born in Georgia. I'm not saying that this isn't there John, I'm just saying that conflicts with all the info that I can find. And, do you have any record of his marriage to the Martha with whom he is linked?
Just trying to get it all straight in mind and in history, any help you can give me will be appreciated.
Sarah Ann May Forman I am researching the wives of Ephraim J Forman and I'm trying to make sure this is the right wife. The Find A Grave memorial for her says that she was married to a "Mr. Roberts" but I can't find a record of that in the Amite county marriage records. Would you happen to have any more information, such as where and when they were married, or Mr. Roberts' first name? Thank you! (Sarah Forman #65194047)
I have been looking for Rebecca for some time with no luck. How did you find her to add her to the list of children. Her mother was Mariah Monk Byrd. I also don't have her birthday. Any information could help me with my research.
