John Caldwell
My husband is tied in with many of the family names you list (Shafer, Lantz, Winngs (Winans?), etc.

We have searched for 40 years for the parents of John Caldwell but have not been successful. John was married to Lydia Winans. John was born in 1797 and died in 1854. He was buried in Paint Creek Cemetery in Indiana. We have heard stories that his family was possibly from Scotland, but have never seen any proof substantiating that. Do you have any proof of parentage or where he was born?

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

You sent her a request for a relationship link to be established between a couple memorials that she manages.

Unfortuantely, she never saw your message as she passed away October 2010.

You would have to send email to info@findagrave.com to make the necessary requests.
