I just retired and have been very busy with all that entails, as well as family obligations. I will be catching up on edits during the next couple of months. Thank you for your patience.|
I started hanging out in cemeteries while doing family research. Currently, I'm focusing on Myers and Owen/Owens mostly in Callaway, Audrain and Atchison County, Missouri and Bertels in Stark and Summit County, Ohio.
When I take a photo for my memorials or as a volunteer, I usually take photos of nearby headstones and add them also. When requested and as time allows, I will also check for obits at the local library if the specific death or burial date is known. My library is happily located in the block between my job and my parking spot.

Thank you for the transfers of Marion and Nicholas ll. I thought I put in for their so Nicholas 111 but maybe I forgot. I will request again just in case. THANK YOU for taking good care of them ♡
Hi. I just want to bring to your attention that I sent a correction to you re the first name - corrected J. to John. I have on several occasions for over a year requested transfer of the memorial he is a lot more closely related to me than who you transferred it to, and I do not understand why my request was ignored. Neither the person who has control of this memorial or me no where near qualify, he is my cousin by marriage, and her 2nd cousin by marriage. He is the step father of another cousin who does qualify, and it was always my intention to transfer the file to her. She is an elderly lady, not familiar with Find A Grave, but she is a member, and wants to gather as much as possible for her family to take over when her time comes. Is there a way to solve this? I will send another message to give you a memorial number that you can answer via the edit & suggestion section.

Hi, I have requested transfer of this memorial several times, with no reply. There is an incredible amount of information to place on this memorial. He is a direct ancestor - but more importantly, the father of my close relatives all over Elk Valley Cemetery - Weaver, Zwick and more. We share the same grandparents Jabez and Diana Weaver in Elk Valley.
I really appreciate that you have recorded this memorial, but only being a wooden cross, that cross is not going to last forever, and as it is now, not even his whole name appears.
Perhaps if you are no longer a contributor to Find a Grave I should request transfer from them?

My husband, John Lynn Neal, is a grandson of Annette (Haickel) Neal. I recently added her memorial #143288049 and found your memorial # 106758503 today. He was told she had been cremated and was not in a cemetery. Let me know if you would like transfer yours to me, or if I should cancel my memorial.
Either way, her parents and siblings are also in Bayview Cemetery and you can find their connections with my memorial #143288049.
Thank you for listing Grandma Neal. Did you by any chance take a photo of her stone?

Your family photo is incredible! But do you think perhaps you might be able to add a few more children? There aren't enough little faces in that group! Heh!

Dear Vera Marie: There is a photo request for Viola and I found her today. I also found several other Pollard family members in Ferndale Cemetery today. I will be editing and uploading photos within the next few days, but I just wanted you to know that Viola is definitely at Sunset Memorial Park in Eureka. She is resting in a very serene and beautiful place with palm trees and a lot of green grass. Kind regards, Bridey Light, Humboldt County, California

Thank you for the transfer. Marsha

My Aunt Clarice Dean Williams married Tom Bush Owen. They were both born in Callaway County, Missouri, I believe Tom was born in Auxvasse, Missouri. They ran a motel in Kingdom City and also collected and sold antiques. They moved to California State and raised their three boys there, Billy, Carl Wood and Thomas Paint. I will have to look up who Uncle Tom's parents were. Aunt Dean's parents were Joseph Thomas "Tom" and Lela Lessie Craighead Williams, both born in Calwood, Callaway County, Missouri.
|Barbara Moore||Karl Darling #95623613|
Dear VeraMarie, I think that Karl Darling was married to my aunt Faye Vesper. They lived in the Pass and she lived there with her second husband as well. Are you related to this person? I am interested in any information you may have. As far as I know they did not have any children.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
