"De mortuis nil nisi bonum"--Chilon of Sparta|
Although I live in Oklahoma, many of the memorials I have created and tombstone photos I have added are for the counties of Clay, Dickinson, Riley and Geary in Kansas. Please visit my homepage for Clay County genealogy--it contains links to the other counties mentioned, too.
I am happy to add information to memorials, and will transfer to relatives. Please use the "Edit" button at the top right of the memorial to request transfers or to add information. If requesting a transfer, please note how this person is related to you--not because of any FAG policy, just because I'm nosy!
I want to give a special shout out to Emily for the many obituaries she has submitted for Fairlawn Cemetery in OKC. She doesn't want credit, so I won't give her last name, but I know that I and especially the families of those whose obits she sent appreciate it!
As winter brings a longer night,
And women read by candlelight,
They come to know, like sun, like rain,
Nothing lasts, not love nor pain.
O Time! O Time! O thieving Time!
Give me back my stolen years.

Thanks for the transfer. I got the marriages in the right order, but am leaving the name Langvardt. It is explained in the bio, and her tombstone says Langvardt which was her name at death.

They are so hard to read, especially when in the midst of the iris, peonies and weeds, or buried. They had mowed today which helped.
Do you know why your photo for Asaph Frizzle (taken at Pleasant Valley) is now in Marshall County? I have a dupe but will leave it until we "get him back"! He and his wife Rebecca are at the front to the south of the drive.
I'm trying to link the families together and then will transfer most of them to Kevin Stilley who lives nearby and knows the names.
Thanks for your help as always.

I have deleted the duplicate records. Thanks for the information. If I can do anything else, let me know.

Thanks so much for transferring these to me. I was going through some things and found the memorial record for Priscilla's mother, Catherine Vian Huffman born in Amity, Ohio in the 1840s. So her parents would have been John Vian and Catherine Downs. If I run across any info connecting William Downs and Catherine Downs I will let you know.
And, yes, the whole business is head-spinning confusing:)

Thanks for linking Lem with his parents.
Thank you for your work on Find a Grave.

You are welcome. I also have the "double-cousin" situation in my family. My mom's sister married my dad's brother. However, we don't look alike. If there is anything else I can do for you, let me know. Leta

Sheryl, thanks so much for the transfer of Mary Job and her family and descendents. I'm working on the connection and links. I've posted her photo. I really appreciate the work you've done on our behalf. Best, Anne W.
|Ashley Tully||Thank you!|
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Would you mind transferring the Tully's from St Joseph's Cemetery in Geary County Kansas? I will tell you they are all brother and sisters of my direct relatives. From what I can tell I am the only person researching this line and I'd like to keep them all together. This cemetery was built on family land. If you'd rather not, that's fine. Thank you.
Is this where I request the transfer of this memorial? Tracie
