Bio Photo I'm the historian for the First Congregational Church of Norwich and the city cemeteries historian for the Norwich Historical Society. I also serve as a board member for the Connecticut Gravestone Network, and the Maplewood Cemetery. Researching and studying cemeteries, gravestones, death and burial traditions has been my passion for many years. I am fascinated by the art, spirituality and human history. Burial customs run deep within any society or culture and, for those who understand them, provide incite as to how people untimately relate to and find their place in this life experience.

Thanks so much for the photo of my cousin. I've been waiting for a long time for this photo. Thanks for your time and effort in finding his grave and the stones of his in-laws, the Frechettes.

Thanks for looking for his grave. One person insisted that he was buried there, so I made the memorial and requested the photo. It seems he was wrong, so I deleted the memorial. You helped resolve a problem.
