I'll let you know if I find anything about Barbara Hack.
|bluemousey||RE: Jacob Hack|
Here is the link to the son Johannes Hack's memorial page. I don't have the option to link his memorial to his father unless you can transfer the father (and mother too, please) to me. (Please Note: I am waiting for the owner of Johannes's memorial to make the edits I have sent her. So his memorial page will not reflect the correct dates. See my flower note I just posted for the correct information. This past Friday I was able to get a good picture and translate his stone. His mother and father are definitely Jacob and Margaretha (Dubs) Hack. I also scored Letter of Administration for his death from the Columbia County Courthouse)
My family spells the last name as HAUCK.
I don't have a record to prove Barbara Hack Sell was his sister... yet! But if I find anything I will let you know.
Are you related to Jacob Hack buried at Bowers Union Cemetery, memorial # 39667320. And his wife Margaretha (Dubs) Hack? They are my ancestors 5th great grandfather. I descend from their son buried in Columbia County. I just found his grave, which had been lost.
Would you check something for me in Trexler book? Not sure if it will even be there but I'm hoping. David Dixon Trexler #18194405, son of John Trexler #40462817 and Mary Dixon Trexler, married twice. His first wife was Maria Fry Trexler and had one son, William Trexler. She dies, he remarries to Ella Nelson Trexler. They have a daughter together. Looks like David dies and Ella marries her stepson William. I just can't prove it. Would you see if you can find them in the book, please. Oh, David's grandparents are Jonathan 1791 and Rachel Martin Trexler. I noticed you have pending relationship for David Dixon Trexler and name change. I tried to do it tonight. =)
Getting to go back to the Trexler Cemetery in two weeks. It was by luck! My husband has a job in that area. Going to look for Jonathan and Jared Trexler. Hoping to hit Effingham and surrounding areas while there.

Stephen and Rachel could have died in Illinois. It would depend on when John and Mary came to Illinois. It could have been 1858. Maybe they are in the Trexler Cemetery. I'll go back and check some of the cemeteries Mary and John's families are buried in in Ohio. I know JOhn's brother Jared stayed in Ohio. I'll start there.

Hi. I noticed John and Polly have two children not listed. I found their headstone when I visited family there couple weeks ago. I added their memorials and linked them back to their parents. Thought you might would want to add their names to your listing of children for John. Would you go look at this one and tell me if you can make out some dates? Looks like born in 1863 and died in 1868. Here is the number 133959982. I'm not going to swear I spelled her first name correctly.
The other one I added is Minnie.
Thank you for the obit!!

I sent in a request to link Carolyn and the other other sister. Hopefully, it will be reviewed and they will link them soon. Thanks for Ediths dates. I have Andy Bowens email address and email him once in awhile about the Nace's. He is Dorothy's son who lives in S. America I think. Thanks MJ
