The only rule we follow is the Golden Rule. We'll treat you kindly no matter what you ask of us. Transfer? Sure. Edit info? You bet. Use our photos? Absolutely.|
What we've learned during our Find-A-Grave journey is that life is too short no matter how many years you get. Walking through a cemetery slows you down, makes you reflect on the mark you will leave behind.
Be kind, people. When it comes down to it that's the only legacy worth leaving.

Thank you. I've added the obit, but find it strange that in the census records she was always listed as an osteopathic doctor, not a telephone operator.

|The Locator||RE: Kirker in Guernsey Cemetery|
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I went to the Guernsey Cemetery to take photos of the Kirker family. The only stone on the lot is for Laura. On the plot page of the Guernsey cemetery it shows that John purchased the lot and his brother William purchased the lot west of Johns. I have posted the photo on Laura's memorial page.

Oh thank you, thank you for bringing two of my family members into my fold.

Thank you so much for transferring Nathaniel Hetler's cemetery record to me. Would you also transfer his wife's, Catherine Culp Hetler? 122030660.

Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon, Lee Co., IL.
I would like to make a correction for my gr. gr. grandfather, Nathan Hetler. His birth name was Nathaniel Hetler but he always went by Nathan.
He was born 14 Feb. 1810 in Mifflinville, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania which became Columbia County in 1813. Baptized 3 March 1810, parents listed as Johannes Hettler and Maria (Anna Maria Henninger). Godparents Conrad Herman and Susanna Helmmiren. He was the 12 child of 13 that Johannes and Anna Maria had. They are buried in Mifflinville cemetery, Columbia Co., PA. His cemetery marker is in German and last name spelled Hettler. On Anna Maria's marker it was spelled Hetler with just one t.
|Wallace G Lane Jr||Lot 1420 & 1422|
There are no military markers on either lot. The lodge purchased both lots, all the burials are recorded to Lot 1420.

I appreciate your posting the stone for Bryon. Thank you.
|Elsie Harmon||Myron Dillenbeck 89276714|
Myron Dillenbeck's obituary mentions half-brother "Bert Beeds". He is Albert Richard "Bert" Dillenbeck, a son of Jacob Dillenbeck and Sarah Elizabeth Lawton. Jacob and Sarah married about 1865 and Albert was b 15 Oct. 1867, died 31 Aug 1933 and when he was about 3 yrs. old Sarah married Alfred Allen Beede in Lee Co., IL. I assume that Alfred adopted Albert as that is the name he went by and is buried in Palmyra cemetery, Lee Co., IL. It was a short-lived marriage between Jacob and Sarah. Jacob remarried also.
Hello. This is just a note to let you know that I added a comment to Salmon Winchester's memorial per the link that you sent me about his affiliation with the Freemasons. Thank you for forwarding this information.
