RE: Mary Jane Porterfield
Hello TB Willis-
I just read that you purchased the photo of Mary Jane Porterfield Hickman at an Estate Sale. Would you mind telling me who's estate it was? I have a photo but it is too small to make out her face. I think it is somewhat like this face. Would be happy to share mine.

Usage permission for Col John Allen
The Ohio History Connection is developing kiosks for Fort Amanda, one of our sites in northwester Ohio. I am writing to request image usage permission to feature the picture of Col. John Allen on a kiosk panel at Fort Amanda.

Thank you,

John Allen photo
Old Waco,
I am an educator and was wondering if I could get your permission to use the photo you posted of John Allen in a project my technology students are creating. I live in Allen County KY, which was named for John Allen. May I ask, how did you find his photo?

RE: Harriett Abbott
Thanks so much for taking the trouble to pass along this link. I just read the article. I'm going to mention this in my book about African-Americans from Clark County, Kentucky. I'll mention you as the source if you feel inclined to pass along your name.
