"Who would hold hostage - under the pretense of copyright - the photo of a grave stone?" FaG contributor Salvarsan
If you are wondering about the diatribe to the right, it's the poster's reaction to being called out on violating this FaG rule: Can I add a photo that I found on Find a Grave or on a different website? No. Do not add photos to Find A Grave that you have acquired from another memorial or from another source.

Thanks for the detail on Richard Lawrence Hughes.
He is my Uncle, so yes, I had that detail... and more.
I'm a bit confused because he went as "Lawrence", and now the grave stone is "Richard" but no "Lawrence".
After his parents died, he took his inheritance and operated a resort. The city that our family records have is Pequot Lakes. or maybe that's where he died in hospital or care facility, and his resort was elsewhere.
I would like to piece some of that together, more accurately.
Hi Jo -
Any chance you or someone might know more details about Richard and Martha Hughes?
My Uncle Richard Lawrence Hughes married Martha Hughes. The dates for him are about right.
He died in Crow Wing County.
Any possibility they are the same?
Does someone there keep newspaper Obituaries?
