Bio Photo Hello, I'm a Retired person that's very interested in searching cemeterys around the Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Area. I'm also into Genealogy.
I put a lot of research into each person's history for the tombstone.
I try to be correct on all information, but I do make mistakes the odd time.
So if anybody notices a error please inform me & I will gladly correct it.

Hiram Bessey
Thank you so much for linking up Hiram and his father. I am trying to work on my Bessey line now in locating their graves and never knew there were so many in Canada. I grew up a few miles from where our immediate family Besseys came to my hometown of Marcellus and Fabius in Central New York where many stayed but others spread out. I discovered very recently my ancestor grandfather and some of his brothers and nephews surprisingly were Loyalists and some served with Butler's Rangers during the Revolutionary War. Many were married to wives whose fathers and brothers were ardent Patriots. Must have been some spirited family reunions in later years!!!!

John Joseph Mickus and Christina Klump Gravestone
Thank you so much for adding this gravestone to
"Find A Grave". I live in Portland, Oregon and
I visited Kitchener three years ago researching my
Grandparents who lived in Doon and are buried in
the Doon Presbyterian Cemetery. I believe that
Christina Klump is related to Marie Wagenplast,
possibly step-sisters. You have provided our family
with information which will help us connect this
part of our family.

Thank you again,

Pat Rigby

Kramp family
Just wanted to thank you for linking up my Kramp family members to your site so quickly. I appreciate all your hard work and dedication. My grandmother, Anna Kramp, came to New York in 1898 and married and had a large family of ten. So, the bloodline continues down here with all her numerous descendants in all walks of life.I appreciate your kindness.

Reiber
All of my family is either in New Dundee or Mount Hope, I cannot be sure but Maria Reiber is there with her husband John Hillgartner but I see you have Henry Reiber as not being her brother. I was pretty sure her mom was Catherine Schnarr but she is also Henry's son. They are buried in the old section. Also, John Kock and Catherine Hoffman are buried beside their daughter Anna Marie Hoffman-Hillgartner. Their stone has shifted and if it falls it is gone forever. Please let me know if you can sort the Reiber's out for me.

Beverly Lackenbauer
Emma Boonowski Lackenbauer
Hello~

Just wanted to let you know that I have finally found the correct spelling of Emma's maiden name. On the 1881 Cencus for Canada is the family of Bojanowski.

Johannes (father) 15 Apr 1831 Germany
Wilhemina Olebenski (mother) 22 Oct 1832 Germany
children:
Herman Sep 1865 Germany (moved to Michigan, USA)
Adolph 1867 Germany (moved to Michigan, USA)
John Mar 1871 Germany (m, Barbara Lackenbauer)
Eda (or Ida) 23 Dec 1873 Germany (m. Gustave Luening)
Emma Louise 24 Jun 1876 Germany (m. John Lackenbauer)

John (1871) and Barabara (Lackenbauer) daughter, Vernia P signed her name "Boyanosky" on her marriage certificate. But all the rest of the family spelled it Bojanowski.

Hope this helps,
Beverly Lackenbauer
