Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing my family and my husband's family reaearch since 2008. I would love to hear from anyone who has connections. The surnames I am researching include, Bruman, Houck, Knoche, Lange, Grobbel, Dice, Howe, Seasons, and Collins. Locations include Detroit, Warren, Centerline, Lapeer, North Branch, Burnside, Five Lakes, and Kings Mill in Michigan, McLeod County in Minnesota, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and North Adams, Massachusetts.

I have established many memorial pages as I learn the burial sites. If I have established a memorial page for someone who is dear to you, please let me know and I will do a transfer. I am not related to anyone in Tennessee, so I am willing to transfer any Tennessee memorials. Please make your request through the edit tab on the memorial and include your ID number.

Please summarize biographical information in a nicely written paragraph rather than submitting a canned form of raw data from census records, death indices, and other documents.

Although Find a Grave allows records such as death certificates or military documents to be uploaded on the memorial pages, I would prefer you not upload them if they are findable online. It is important to leave that space available for items like photos of the person and their marker. The information found on these documents can be summarized in the biography. It is nice to open a memorial and find a cemetery photo, marker photo, or even a personal picture. I feel like I am actually virtually visiting the final resting place.

Thanks for all you do for the cause, and especially for the great pic of Dr. Lea's tombstone.

Thank you for doing the edits for William, now he is connected to some of his family. "Bill" and I went to a one room country school together.

Abraham McClellan c 1746- c 1818
Hi Louise - could you please add the above birth and death dates for Abraham? These are the dates in the DAR GRS database. He was an Ensign during the Revolutionary War and went on to serve in the Indian Wars. He is a many times removed great uncle of mine. Thank you!

They are heroes, in my estimation, just as worthy of recognition as any general officer. Tell us about him, or submit the info in an edit, if you have some.

Hello, again, Louise!

On 12Sep2013, you "flowered" the above memorial with a drummer boy. I wonder if you have information that would make a fitting bio thumbnail summary. Died 1864 sounds like he might have been killed in the American War Between the States, but I don't want to put words in your mouth. I discoverrd another drummerboy in a kindred family last year. They ar
