Find A Grave Memorial# 131809946
His grave is unmarked if he has no headstone with his name on it. . Please do not put other people's headstones on his memorial. If they add his name to an existing stone - that would be fine....but as long as his name is not on any stone....his grave is unmarked. Millions of people have unmarked graves and it is no big deal.

RE: Lahser
I had found a death certificate (well, death info) on Ancestry for Augustus Lahser that said he was buried in Soldier's Home, Washington, DC. But when I tried to get someone to take a photo at the U.S. Soldier's and Airmen's Home National Cemetery, they couldn't find him. The plot information (14-4-1-A) didn't match up and since there are 14,000 burials there, there was no way.

I've tried to get more information online, to no avail. The cemetery he's in must have another name nowadays. If you do get to Washington, DC, maybe you can find better information. He died during the Civil War, so that might help you.

Good luck!!

Almost 6 1/2 years with Findagrave but just started on Christian Memorial the last couple years.
There are alot that still are not on here, I cannot believe how big that place is! Thanks for what you do. And maybe I'll see you around :)
