Hello everyone. I was born in 1980 and live in Italy. I love photography and I am a passionate amateur photographer. I've always loved the history and since I was a kid I started reading history books. Yes, I know. I was a child outside the box. I preferred to read books like The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Lawrence Shirer rather than reading comics. I loved deepen my knowledge on the historical period of WWII. I love all the books on this topic. Obviously with the time my thirst for knowledge has been extended to all of our contemporary history and recently to whole the history in general. This site has many purposes, but I think the most important purpose is to maintain in living a piece of our history. Our personal history and also the history our families and the history of our world. Give to future generations the opportunity to know our history because they will be part of it. I love this of Find a Grave.|

Hi, Ruggero! I was wondering if in your study of World War Two you might have run across either of these officers in the American Army: John William Fischer or Hylton S. Neill? I am given to understand that they both served in Italy, though probably not together. Both were officers, probably major or higher. Neither are buried in Italy. Thank you for any help you can give.

Would love to know the connection between a 1950s baseball pitcher, Bob Trowbridge, which you supplied a nice black and white picture of, and a Italian photographer born in 1980. Pure curiosity.
I just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2015. Thank you again for all your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Hello again, Ruggero, and thanks for your quickest answer. Actually, since I don't speak Italian and because at the cemetery office, they hardly speak English, I wanted to ask you if by any chance you remember the section where Milly Vitale's chapel can be seen... Thanks again. Michel

I arrived in Rome yesterday evening, and realized you've added a view of the inside of the chapel where Milly Vitale has been laid to rest; do you happen to remember exactly where this chapel is?
Thanks in advance, and best,
|Geoffrey D. Decker||RE: Claudio Abbado|
Your memorial for Claudio Abbado is a duplicate of the Famous Grave entry for him, the biography for which I wrote.
