RE: Stimus/Stymus
I will continue searching for Stimus graves once some of our snow melts! The cemetery is around the corner from my house.

RE: Dannenberg
Had to wait 1/2 hour for the funeral in the chapel to be completed. The crypts is in the Chapel of the Kingdom. Never realized before how quiet that place is.

RE: Find a Grave photos
You can send me your name via email (, so I can include in the photo captions. I am including a lot of photographs in this book and want to acknowledge each person who supplied a photograph.

Find a Grave photos
I am writing a two-volume book on the 8th Indiana. I would like to include photos of the soldiers and their headstones with their biographies. I would like to use some of your photos in the book and will give you credit in the caption for each photo. If you are interested, I can let you know when the book is published. If it is ok to use your photos, could you also give you your first and last name for the captions?

Pvt Harrison Lilly #23511820
Hi JT,
I am presently working on a project honoring the soldiers from my hometown who gave the ultimate sacrifice. May I have your permission to use the image from Pvt. Lilly’s memorial with credit being given to you. Thank you for your consideration. Anna

I am curious. What relation to Richard and Marie are Edwin and Kenneth? I looked at the 1920 Census for the family and only saw Arnold. Kenneth was alive only in 1922, so obviously he wouldn't be there. Edwin and Kenneth have exactly the same kind of stone and everyone is in the same plot.
