Willing to attempt photo requests within the West Midlands County UK. (inc. former parts of Warwickshire, Worcestershire & Staffordshire & including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton etc.).|
Left click once - This will get a slightly larger photo. Click this photo again and it will open in a separate window. Finally click this photo a third time and it will open to full size.
Note I no longer add memorial inscriptions unless specifically requested to do so, as it is too time consuming. Photos are usually of sufficient quality to make inscriptions readable when enlarged. They should enlarge to at least A3 size before pixelating. I do however make every effort to enter FAG family links where available, and include inscriptions stating family links not shown elsewhere. I also state age at death if shown.
I use a rebuilt Minolta A1 or A2 camera, occasionally employing a flood flash & a few other tricks to highlight detail on badly stained memorials.

You're welcome. I am glad I was able to help. Thankfully, posts to the cemetery fix forum are usually completed within a couple of days - much better than before, when often it took several months.

Yes, this info helps very much.
I'll submit a merge request, with an AKA, to the Fix forum. If my try is successful, I can then try with the Handsworth duplicates.
With your permission, may I please send you some names to check on the burial records that you can access? I would send a personal email to your posted contact address, and then whenever you have some time, I would be most grateful for the help.

Yep I've had that problem, but what they do is effectively leave the separate titles but linked to a single list, it could look like 2 lists but in fact are the same entries.
At least that is what I've seen them do, but there are others where it needs sorting out!
They could do with updating the methodology also, not just for bulk loads, remodel the form, but i.e. in linking it only goes upwards! Rather than enter 2 parents add a sibling , parents auto populated. Where the parents had multiple marriages surely the system could offer the names for us to select.
I tried adding more than 5 photos to one entry, this 'Free Site' now solicits 'sponsoring' to enable further images to be inserted! Thin end of the profiteering wedge?
It was stated some years ago it was a non profit system. I'll bet Ancestry paid up or bought it out as the records are now included on their system. Who's not making or made money out of what we do for free?
Didn't comment on your last message, but I hope someone might keep my memorial clean, big job though was thinking of being cremated & scattered in the Atlantic!
Keep well mate!

What a team we are making!
In adding images at Curdworth I've just linked 3 graves from my photo efforts there to one you created at St Matthews, Duddeston!
I've also added Birth Date to Ethel Davison (Nee Slaymaker), will probably pick up more info, if so I'll see if I can add or I'll drop you a line with the details.

Sorry to hear you've not been well, much of it about. By the way end of which year?
Thing is I've created that tree on Ancestry for the Cemetery at the same time, thought I'd best get those I have which have photos for them added to Find A Grave.
My listing for the churchyard is currently 2782 names, only very few of those are pre 1813, and that list for before then has 4970 names!
I'll be joining 'em before I'm done at this rate!
Best crack on with it!

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I've not been to well & have been in & out of hospital.
I really can thank you enough for finding the actual location & number details of the grave "it really is appreciated"
As you say it's a shame about the conifer tree, I have a slight feeling the Mark & Emma Williams son Thomas my granddad may be guilty of that as he & his parents loved conifer trees & my dad remembers him planting one on their grave.
Once again many thanks for your kind help & for supplying a photo of where my granddad Thomas WIlliams's ashes were scattered & sorry once again for the delay in getting back to you!
