|Please send RESOURCES for edit requests that are not easily verified... If I cannot verify it, I will not change it. I will document the information in the bio section of the memorial stating that it was sent and is unverified. |
I don't connect to "burial unknown" memorials. According to findagrave guidelines: "Location of body unknown must be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."
from the findagrave FAQs
"Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower."
please send through SAC
I follow Findagrave guidelines for transfers:
Only request transferring of management if you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial management transferred to you. This will send an email request to the contributor, even if there is not an email address listed on their contributor page.
Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests must not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred.
The "Suggest a correction" feature may also be used to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above definition. (Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for the family links and how they are related, father, mother or spouse. The original contributor will make any corrections and add any additional information you have for that memorial, such as links to parents and spouses, provided the information is accurate.

Was the month of death in June or January? See the date of death as listed. Then check the last line of the obituary. Thank you.

You have added and photographed most or all of this cemetery and I know you have some unreadable markers.
Notes on my tree regarding: Saloma was born in 1780 and died May 14, 1846 in Marion county. Some of the graves are marked with headstones.
The headstone for Salomi Criss is the only readable Criss grave.
Peter Criss and Salomi White Criss had children: Ezekiel, Anna, Lewis, Elizabeth A, Rezin W, Sarah A, Aaron W, and Ebenezer.,
I was wondering if any of your unreadables could be theirs.
FYI is all

I see on Andrew Brice's page now the answer to my last question. Does it give her age when they were married? Maybe she was lying about her age on the 1940 census. She stated she was 43 and that she had first been married at age 21.
And perhaps she misunderstood the question about children and meant that she just had the two living, since Carl had died by then.
Thanks for helping to clear up these details.
But in the 1940 census Bessie indicated that SHE and Andrew Brice Nethers were married in 1918 and that she had only ever had two children, Jack and Alice. (Maybe I already wrote that to you in the SAC, but I thought it was to someone else.)
Maybe the informant on his Death Certificate was just not aware that Bessie was only the mother of two of Andrew Brice's children.
Does Andrew Brice's marriage record from 1914 give his wife's name?

Since you do not link to burials unknown maybe you can explain how I or anyone else can find a grave that is about 175 years old?
Maybe you can transfer 109759061 (Ingaby Sturm Martin) to myself. Ingaby was my great great grandfather's sister?
