I was born, raised, and educated in Texas; served in the U.S. Navy, worked for the Virginia Employment Commission in Portsmouth, Virginia, the Baltimore City Police Department in Maryland, and finally, The Methodist Hospital (now named Houston Methodist) in Houston. After 20 years at the hospital, I retired in 2001 and moved back to my hometown in central Texas.|
Other than my own family members, I'm not related to any of the people I enter on Find A Grave and I'm unable to provide any further information about my entries except what was in an obituary or what I've researched.
Please do not put Death Certificate photos on any of my memorials. I appreciate your research; however, the information on death certificates is not always accurate and, the COD does not need to be seen.

DO NOT use the public message (PM) for these requests as they will be ignored.
A big thanks to all who have visited and left flowers and notes for any of my entries, including my family members and my fur babies. Thanks also to those who've sponsored several of my entries. It is very much appreciated.

|Backward Glance||Disappearing picture and flower|
Thank you for all the good work you do here. I see many of my family members on this site and they are very well done.
I do have a question; The memorial for Helen Marie Brady Hunter, 68497958, is a relative, being my father's first cousin. She was indeed a grand lady and I had the privilege of visiting her when she was in her 90's and living in her home in Dallas. She was gracious and shared all the HILL family genealogy she had, and allowed my sister and myself to copy everything, including old pictures.
I left a flower several days ago in her memory, and uploaded an old photo of her as a girl of abt. 13 yr. of age taken in Gay Hill, TX. When I now look at her memorial, both my comment (which was not offensive in any way), and the photo has been deleted. I am puzzled by the disappearance. If adding the youthful picture was inappropriate in some way, please let me know. I thought adding a picture was allowed, but if it is not your preference, I will honor your wishes. If it is just a "glitch" that it disappeared, please let me know.

Ruth, is it ok for me to use your photo of him that you took from his headstone? I'd like to put it in my files. I will give you credit for the photo.
