|I have been working on my family's genealogy for about 7 years. The more information I find, the more I want to find. |
I grew up on a farm near Chandler, Lincoln Co., Oklahoma. My mother's folks were from Cogar, Ok. and my father's folks were from the Piedmont, Ok. area. My grandparents families on both sides were from Georgia and North Carolina.
I only learned of FAG two weeks ago. I want to add my information to help other people find their family members.
I really enjoy NASCAR. The drivers that I like in this era are Carl Edwards, Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, etc. I've been enjoying NASCAR since about 1967.

Joseph Brown (above) is buried in McCorkle Cemetery NW of Chandler. This is an old neglected cemetery (last burial about 1923), which has recently been cleaned up. Strangely, I cannot find Joseph in any census. I'm wondering if he may not be the father of Abe Brown. Abe, you must know, is the father of Mary Brown Hopkins, at whose monument you left some flowers.
Joseph's stone is the best preserved stone at McCorkle Cem. Have a look. His Find A Grave # is 45569939.
Please let me know if you have any idea who Joseph Brown might be.

Thank you for your kindness in the above matter. She was my Mother, and was a blessing to many people in her long life. Are we related in any way, I too want to find any and all information I can on my Ancestory. I would love to hear from you, Sincerely, DeLoy William Duff, the youngest child of Martha Duff.
