RE: Jordan cemetery
Morgan County, Ohio Jordan Cemetery
Jordan Cemetery
The Jordan Cemetery is located 1 1/2 miles on Center twp Rd. 624. The road is washed out and non readily accessible. The cemetery is in Section 13 of Center Twp.
It is in the back of a barn on someone's farm. I have been told this. I have never been there myself.

[There has been the discovery of an unmarked grave of a Revolutionary soldier written about in the Morgan County Herald in November or December of 1999. This soldier's grave was marked and appropriately decorated by the DAR..and a descendant. This road is not accessible by car...there is no good road to it and it is near the border of Noble County but is in Morgan County on the road which leads to Keithtown...up in a farm field. ]
Addendum:
Here's information about the above Rev. Soldier that is buried in this cemetery.
Conrad Harmon who served in the Revolutionary War from 1777-1783. A marker was placed on the unmarked grave Veteran's Day 1999 by Charles Gould, his gr gr gr grandson.
Harmon was of German descent and a native of Beaver Falls, PA. He served 6yrs, mustered out under Col. Broadhurst Sept 1783. Mr. Harmon died June 9. 1823 at the age of 75. He had been given 163.4 acres of congressional lands in Center twp in Morgan Co. He applied for a pension in Muskingum Co. April 12, 1818.

I myself had thought of trying to find it. I would like to get photos. But this is all I have on it. I hope it helps.

Wheeler family
my sister descends from John Wesley's brother, Francis Marion --> David Seright --> Lloyd David --> Elnora Catherine Wheeler Shumate Miller --> Peggy (my 1/2 sister).

We grew up in Zanesville and both still live here. Have you been to any of the Wheeler reunions?
