 | RE: Rosie, Hi Guy, things are fine here. That's great news about Sam! If you go to his birthday party please send me a picture.
I wondered how your cousin was doing. That's sad she cut off communication with the family. Also sorry to hear that Debbie passed away.
Welcome to little Elijah! Babies are so much fun!
Hope you and your family have a nice Easter! Great hearing from you :-)

 | Wilda Juanita Montgomery I noticed the note that you left on the memorial of "Wilda Juanita Montgomery" 23943562. I am trying to find information about her family to put on my family tree. Although there is some information about her parents on her memorial, I can find no census records that match those names, or information about any brothers and sisters. If you knew her, or any of her family members that you believe would wish to share information, I would be grateful if you could point them toward my bio page to contact me. I am Richard Gregory 47619329. Thank you. | | | Ken Stewart
 | RE: Hammond Berg Thanks very much. It does help. I am trying to get a copy of Alva's death certificate from Madison County. And there may be an interesting story associated with the big Hammond Berg marker. Little did I know that an interest in early twentieth century cemetery practices would be sparked by this family history stuff. Thanks, again, Guy. | | | Ken Stewart
 | Hammond Berg Hello Guy, May I have permission to use the obituary and headstone/marker photographs for Jessie Maynard in my Ancestry.com Rosen-Stewart family tree? Jessie Mae's first husband, Alva Berg, was the nephew of my great grandfather Christian. Do you know whether the Hammond Berg marker indicates that Alva is buried nearby? Thanks in advance for any light you can shed. Ken | | | Becky Kincade
 | RE: Rosa Baker Lewis Guy:
Thanks for responding to my inquiry. I have some more info that I have discovered on the Baker (Rosa and my great-grandmother Katie) family. Right now I am heading home from Arizona. Next week I will forward you what I have found out -- which is quite a bit. Do I still use this format for sending info?
Thanks again.

 | Rosa Baker Lewis My great-grandmother was Kathryn Frances Baker Newhart (wife to Adam C. Newhart of Frankfort, Indiana - Clinton County). She was born July 28, 1872 in Bement, Ill. to Edwin (Edmond) and Frances (Fannie Nelson) Baker and died Sept. 3, 1934 in rural Frankfort. Recently, I have been researching her family. In her obituary in the Frankfort Times (Sept. 4, 1934) it states, besides her immediate family, that she was survived by two sisters, Rosa Lewis of Alexandria and Alice Baker of Thorntown. In the obituary of Rosa Lewis, it states that Rosa moved to Alexandria at age 3 following the death of her parents. It doesn't mention Katie, who would have been around 8 years old. Do you know how the parents (Edwin and Frances) died, where they are buried, even where they were born? Also, do you know anything about the other sister - Alice? Did the other girls live with someone else? Thank you for any information you might have. Sincerely, Becky Newhart Kincade email: bskincade@hotmail.com | | | Sarah Schweitzer
 | From What I can Tell... You have made a beautiful and easy to find memorial for Grandma Katie and I wanted to thank you so very much. Her and I never had much time to get to know each other very well, but I remember her from when I was very little. She was the second person in my life that ever made me feel safe and loved in her presence. I just wanted to say thank you and that I wish that I had grown up closer to home :) | | | David Kennedy

Take Care Dave | | | Harold Ward Maynard
 | Ward Maynard is lookin for YDNA I am trying to find a living male descendant of Moses Maynard to donate a cheek swab to determine how male descendants of Moses Maynard relate to descendants of James, Christopher Columbus, and Gibson Maynard--all of whom were in Wilkes County NC in the late 1700s and descendants of whom are strongly related via DNA analyzed by ftdna.com. Please contact me at 410-983-1014 or wardmaynard@yahoo.com if you are interested or know of some Maynard male who might want to participate. For someone with a strong paper trail back to Moses, I am willing to fund the cost of the test. | | | | [View all messages...] |
