Conrad W Stultz son of Nicholas Stultz (?)
Hi Mike:
I have been searching for 15 years for a documented link to the relationship between Conrad W Stultz and Nicholas and Catharine Stultz and have found none. I noticed that you have Conrad W Stultz listed on Nicholas’ memorial and a son. I “believe” that he is his son but have no proof. If you have any information that shows that Conrad is Nicholas’s son I would be most grateful for that information.
Regards, Jack Novicki

Question regarding the Frederick Evangelical Reformed Church in Fredrick MD,...
Hello Mike,
I was reading some bio information you left for several ancestors and specifically Mathias Ambrose and wife (Anna) Maria Catherine "Spohn" Ambrose who lived in Thurmont, MD area and I noted that they are buried at the Apples Church/Cemetery. You mentioned this family and their children were connected to the Frederick Evangelical Reformed Church, c. late 1700's... my question is this the "same" church that is now named the Apples Church of Thurmont?
Also, might you know about where the church records of this "Fredrick, Evangelical church" are held? Meaning can these be obtained via the Apples church at the parish level, at a larger church denominational level or with any genealogy or historical society of the area?

Thank you very much!!

Columbus C. Stull & Rebecca
I have a Rebecca Oyler (also spelled as Eyler, Oiler, etal) who was married to a Columbus Stull. Her parents however were Johan George Oyler and Lena Lemeister (Lenah Lemaster) who were from Chambersburg, Franklin County, PA. They moved to and died in Reading, Berks County, PA.

Rebecca's grandparents were Phillip William Oyler (Eyler) and Mary Magdaline Fetterhoff who died in Chambersburg and are buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Phillip William was a stone mason who was born in Fredrick County, Maryland.

There are so many similarities, that I would like to check with you and your sources for both Columbus and Rebecca.

Thank You,

Sarah Clugston Nitterhouse

I have sent you 2 things via email on Sarah. Her obit mistakenly lists her mother as Mary Jane Eyler. It was actually Mary Jane Wolfinger and is wrong on the death certify as well. Caroline Eyler was Sarah's paternal grandmother.

Elizabeth Eyler Harbaugh
It notes on find-a-grave that Elizabeth's parents are unknown. In researching family history, & researching family history from other family members trees, I found that Elizabeth's parents names are father: John Conrad Eyler born 1690 in Germany & died 1751 in Manheim, York, PA. mother: Anna Margaret Gemelcks born 1694 in Manheim, York, PA & died 1763 in Manheim, York, PA.

Re: Hannah Albert
I posted an addition to the memorial for Hannah Albert (my 3rd great grandmother). Marriage records posted on indicates her maiden name was Gross. Thomas and Hannah Albert had a son, Robert C. Albert, (my 2nd great), who was born around 1827. Robert was married to Ann Rebecca Gray (1834-1921), and they lived near Tilghmanton, but the whereabouts of their graves are unknown. Any suggestions as to where I might find where Robert and Rebecca are buried?
