I've discovered several forgotten graves and small family cemeteries over the years, while involved in my work or hunting, and wanted to list them on Find A Grave. Many of the people buried in these graves are some of the earliest settlers in north Louisiana and deserve our respect and admiration. I'll do my best to see that they are not forgotten.|

You left messages for Irma Hargis about a dupe memorial for Horace Peck, her memorial in the wrong state. I agree with you, I had a problem with her work too, and she does seem inactive. In any case, I had the two Peck memorials merged, you'll no longer find the one in Wilson Cemetery. I had my problem fixed as well. Rich.

|Todd F.||RE: Frank Fannin|
Yes, Frank Fannin was my great grandfather and he was married to Lettie Chandler Fannin. They had two sons, John T. Fannin and Madison Monroe Fannin (my grandfather). From what I understand, they didn't live together throughout their entire married lives. Frank left the Winnfield area at some point and ended up down toward Vidalia, Louisiana area and pretty much lived alone in the woods and trapped for a living. My grandfather Monroe and his brother-in-law Joe Francis, in about 1951, got word of Frank's whereabouts and went and got him, bringing him to Old River (near the Catahoula-LaSalle parish line). He stayed near there until his death and that is why he is buried in LaSalle Parish.
